Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Imlil to Toukbal Refuge
You'll get picked up from your hotel in Marrakech and head to Imlil village where the trek starts. The path goes through Mizane Valley, past Aremd village and by Sidi Chamarouch shrine before climbing along mule tracks and rocky terrain. After crossing river plains, you'll reach Toukbal Refuge at 3,206m and settle in for the night in a tent.

- Day 2
Jebel Toukbal Summit to Imlil
Starting early, you'll make your way up Jebel Toukbal, the highest peak in Northern Africa at 3,206m. The climb goes up the south cirque with fairly straightforward walking, though scree slopes and altitude make it challenging. From the top you can see across the Marrakesh Plain, the High Atlas to the north, and further south toward the Anti-Atlas and Sahara. Once you descend back to Imlil, you'll spend the night in a guesthouse.

- Day 3
Imlil to Dades Valley
After breakfast you'll leave Imlil and cross Tizi n'Tichka Pass through the High Atlas, passing through various Berber villages. The landscape shifts as you reach the desert with riverside oasis and barren hills covered in Kasbahs. Lunch happens along the way, then you'll stop at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou before continuing through the Valley of the Roses and into Dades Valley, called the 'valley of a thousand kasbahs'. The night is in Dades.

Dades Valley to Erg Chebbi Desert
You'll drive to Todra Gorge for a quick stop, then continue to the Erg Chebbi dunes, getting there around 4pm. After resting briefly, you'll ride camels into the desert and stay overnight in Berber tents. There's time to watch the sunset and have dinner at the camp.

- Day 5
Erg Chebbi to Marrakech
Your morning starts early watching the sunrise from the desert camp, then you'll have breakfast at the campsite. After riding camels back to the auberge, you'll begin the long drive back to Marrakech through the Tichka Pass, arriving back where you started.
