Casablanca
After breakfast, you'll take a guided tour through Casablanca to see the city's blend of modern, Art Deco, and traditional architecture. The oceanfront Corniche is worth walking along, and Hassan II Mosque is one of the largest in the world so it really stands out. Plan for a few hours to take in both areas comfortably.

- Day 2
Rabat to Chefchaouen
Start the day with a guided tour of Rabat's main sites, including Hassan Tower and the mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan II. You'll also see the Kasbah des Oudayas along the Bou Regreg River and the Roman ruins of Chellah. Later, you'll head north toward Chefchaouen, a blue-walled town that takes a few hours to reach.

Chefchaouen to Fez
You're traveling from Chefchaouen to Fez, where you'll spend time exploring the old medina (Fes el-Bali), which is the largest car-free urban area around. Check out the Medersa Bou Inania, Madrasa Al-Attarine, and the Royal Palace. The Chouara Tannery and pottery district of Ain Nokbi are also on the route, so you'll see a mix of different crafts and architecture.

- Day 4
Fez to Merzouga
Head out from Fez toward the Sahara, driving through the Middle Atlas Mountains. You'll stop in Ifrane to see why it's called the 'Switzerland of Africa', then go to Azrou where Barbary macaques live in their natural environment. After lunch in Midelt, the route continues through the Ziz Valley with palm groves before arriving at Merzouga and the sand dunes.

Merzouga to Dades Valley
Following breakfast at the camp, head to Rissani, a historic town that was once the capital of the Alawite dynasty. From there, you'll travel to Todra Gorges where tall canyon walls and palm groves create a dramatic landscape. The drive then winds through to Dades Valley, known for its rock formations and traditional Berber villages scattered throughout the region.

- Day 6
Dades Valley to Marrakech
After breakfast, you're heading to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO site and well-known film location with impressive architecture. Following lunch, you'll cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n'Tichka Pass, which sits at 2,260 meters and offers great mountain views. You'll arrive in Marrakech during the late afternoon.

Departure
Departure day, so arrange your transfer to the airport based on your flight time. Casablanca Airport requires about 3 hours for the drive plus 2.5 hours for check-in and security. Marrakech Menara Airport is closer at 45 minutes for the drive plus 2.5 hours before departure.
