The guide (Sherali) and porter (Nooric) were great .. I’d rate them 4 and 5 respectively.. we did however have a bad experience with the Tour Radar/ Responsible Travel platform. We should have been informed immediately that the original guide had a medical episode outside our hotel and is still in hospital.. this only came out later.. but the failure to do so and the vague messaging we did receive made the arrangements look amateurish and offering no accountability.. a lot of hassle for all concerned could have been avoided by accurate and timely advice. I’d rate the platform experience at zero for this reason

All local guides were very knowledgeable, considerate and thoughtful. The person who stands out was our driver Ikrom…one of the guides once mentioned ‘now we have to find our driver’ to which I responded ‘no, Ikrom finds us!’ Which made him stand out so much, amongst other things, we felt so looked after, he was very respectful and gallant, always on the lookout for us, on the long roadtrips we had wonderful conversations and laughter, 5+ stars to Ikrom It took us some time to get used to the typical driving in Uzbekistan, the driver we had on the daytrip to Karakalpakstan had us curling our toes at times! The 4cities were incredible to visit! So much history, so many details, so many wonderful colours and local people super kind and polite. We felt very safe during our visit and enjoyed Uzbekistan very much!

    Asked on February 11th, 2025

Is the June 01 trip is guaranteed? I.e. are there enough participants signed up? Do you offer the tent for a single person? I do not want to share with other person. If yes, is there a cost involved? I live in USA, so have to arrive a day earlier. Where would be the closest hotel from the starting point of the trip? The age limit is 70, however i am 75. Have been hiking since 2005. Have hiked and trekked all over the world. The maximum altitude being 21000 feet. I am confident that i will not have any problem doing this trek. Do the USA citizen require a Visa to travel to your country? What is the name and location of the arrival International airport?
