Itinerary
- Day 1
Tashkent
Your driver meets you at Tashkent International Airport to kick things off. From there, you'll head into the Old City and spend time at the Khast Imam complex, which serves as a major religious center in the area. The Chorsu Bazaar gives you a sense of local life and commerce. After grabbing lunch at the Central Asian Plov Center, you'll take a short metro ride to see Independence Square, the Bolshoi Theatre, Amir Temur Square, and the Monument of Courage before settling into your hotel for the evening.

Tashkent to Bukhara
Early morning transfer gets you to Tashkent train station for the high-speed Afrosiyob train heading to Bukhara. You'll arrive around midday and check into your hotel. By 2 PM, your walking tour begins with the Lyabi-Khauz ensemble and its three-sided pool layout. From there, you'll see the Kukeldash Madrasah, walk through various mosques and madrasahs, and take in the striking Kalyan Minaret and Ark Fortress as the day winds down.

Bukhara to Samarkand
After breakfast at your hotel, you've got free time to wander Bukhara before checkout at noon. Then it's off to the train station for the high-speed Afrosiyob train to Samarkand, which gets you there in the late afternoon. Once you reach your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace and get your bearings in the city.

Samarkand to Shakhrisabz and return
Breakfast comes first, then you'll drive 85 km to Shakhrisabz through scenic mountain passes. You'll see the Teshiktosh stone formation, famous from the 1973 film 'Apachen', and stop at a mountain pass market to pick up local dried fruits. In Shakhrisabz, you have time to explore on your own, checking out the Mausoleum of Jakhongir, Ak Saray Palace remains, and Kok Gumbaz Mosque. The drive back to Samarkand takes the afternoon.

Samarkand
This is a full day dedicated to Samarkand's major sights. You'll start with breakfast, then head to the Gur-Emir Mausoleum and Registan Square, which sits at the heart of the city. Next comes the Bibi-Khanum Mosque and Siab Bazaar for lunch at a Plov Center. Afterward, you'll visit the Khazrat Khizr Mosque, the Mausoleum of Islam Karimov, the Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, and Ulughbek Observatory. Before your evening train back to Tashkent, there's time for the Meros paper mill.
