You'll arrive in Vietnam and meet your private driver at the airport for the transfer to your hotel. After checking in, you'll have time to rest from your flight. If you land in the early afternoon, the streets of Ho Chi Minh City are worth exploring to get a feel for the historic charm and how the architecture blends old and new throughout the city.

- Day 2
Ho Chi Minh City
Your full-day Cu Chi Tunnels tour starts at 8:00 AM from District 1. The drive takes about 60km to reach the legendary underground tunnel system from the Vietnam War. You'll walk through the tunnels and learn about what daily life was like during wartime. There's an option to try traditional soldier cooking, sample historical foods, or shoot an AK-47 if you're interested. You'll be back in the city by 2:30 PM.

Ho Chi Minh City to Hoi An
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll fly from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang. Your driver picks you up at the airport and takes you to Hoi An for check-in. The afternoon is yours to relax at the resort or head to the beach. Later, the Old Town comes alive with lights and lanterns as the sun sets. Around 9:00 PM, there's a free outdoor traditional theatre on Nguyen Thai Hoc street featuring Vietnamese folk dancers and musicians. You can light a candle box and set it in the water before heading back to your hotel.

Hoi An
Your hotel pickup is at 8:15 AM. You'll visit the Museum of Folk Culture, Old House of Tan Ky, Japanese Covered Bridge, and Fujian Assembly Hall throughout the morning. Next comes a tour of an Art Craft Manufacturing Workshop. At 11:00 AM, you'll join a one-hour lantern-making class to create your own. Lunch happens at noon at a local restaurant, and the tour wraps up with a hotel drop-off around 1:00 PM.

Hoi An to Hanoi
You'll have breakfast at your hotel and then free time before your evening flight to Hanoi. Once you arrive in Hanoi, your driver will meet you for the transfer to your hotel. Plan to rest after traveling.

- Day 6
Hanoi
Your day trip to rural Hanoi starts at 8:00 AM with a hotel pickup for the drive to Moc village in Ba Vi district (about 1.5 hours from central Hanoi). You'll meet a Vietnam War veteran who owns a tea farm and help harvest tea leaves on a traditional 30-year-old plantation. After that, you'll cook traditional Vietnamese dishes with a local host family and eat lunch together. Cycling through rice fields lets you interact with local farmers, and you'll visit village workshops to see how tofu and conical hats are made. The day ends with a traditional foot soak in warm herbal water using Muong ethnic minority recipes before heading back around 4:00 PM.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
After breakfast, you'll check out and head to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The cruise team meets you at your hotel lobby between 8:00 and 9:00 AM (they'll confirm the exact time the day before). You should reach the jetty around noon to board the cruise. Following welcome and check-in, lunch is served while the boat cruises through hundreds of islets. During the afternoon, you can swim, kayak, or visit caves depending on what the boat offers, or just relax on deck. As evening comes, the boat anchors in a beautiful spot for sunset, then dinner and overnight stay follow.

Halong Bay to Hanoi
You'll watch the sunrise over Halong Bay from the cruise while having breakfast as the boat heads back toward port. An early lunch is served before you disembark and get transferred back to Hanoi. The rest of your day is free for you to explore the city at your own pace.
