Entebbe
Your driver and guide meet you at Entebbe International Airport for the transfer to your hotel. If your flight gets in early, there's time to swing by Entebbe Botanical Garden where you can spot black and white colobus monkeys and vervets hanging around in the trees and peaceful gardens.

Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you head toward Murchison Falls National Park with your guide. First stop is Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for about an hour of rhino tracking, then lunch in Masindi before continuing on. Once you arrive at the park and check in, the evening is yours to settle in and rest.

Murchison Falls National Park
You're out early for a morning game drive across the plains hunting for lions, leopards, and birds. Back at the accommodation for lunch and a break, then a boat trip down to the base of Murchison Falls where hippos, crocodiles, and water birds hang out. If you've got the energy, there's a hike to the top of the falls for views.

Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest National Park
The drive to Kibale Forest National Park takes most of the day, taking you through villages, countryside, and tea plantations. You roll in during the afternoon, get settled at your accommodation, have dinner, and turn in for the night.

Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast and a ranger briefing on chimp trekking rules, you trek into the forest with a guide to find chimpanzees and spend an hour watching them in their space. After lunch, you head out to explore crater lakes and hike to Lake Nkuruba where primates, birds, and local people are all part of the landscape.

You drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast and arrive in time to relax and grab lunch. By afternoon, you're out on a game drive looking for reedbuck, bushbuck, kob, warthogs, elephants, lions, and buffaloes.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
An early morning game drive takes you to Kasenyi plains for Cape buffalos, elephant herds, and big cats like lions and leopards. After lunch at your place, you spend 2 hours on the Kazinga Channel between Lakes George and Edward, spotting hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and various birds.

Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you drive through the Ishasha sector known for tree-climbing lions with about a 70% chance of seeing them. Then it's on to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where roughly half the world's mountain gorillas live. Check in, relax, and get mentally ready for gorilla tracking tomorrow.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Lake Bunyonyi
An early breakfast and ranger briefing get you ready to trek into dense rainforest hunting for mountain gorillas. When rangers locate a group, you spend an hour observing them. Later you check out and drive to Lake Bunyonyi, surrounded by green hills and dotted with 29 islands.

Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you can choose between connecting with local communities around Lake Bunyonyi or paddling traditional dugout canoes around the 29 islands while learning their history. Either way, you're back for lunch and downtime at your accommodation.

Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo National Park
You drive about 5 hours to Lake Mburo National Park through Mbarara town after breakfast. Arrival is early afternoon, giving you time to rest before a late afternoon game drive to see eland antelopes, zebras, topis, impalas, kob, and Cape buffalos.

Lake Mburo National Park to Entebbe
After an early breakfast, you go on a guided bush walk with an armed ranger spotting zebras, giraffes, eland, topis, other antelope, and Cape buffalos up close. Then it's a hike to the hilltop for panoramic views of Lake Mburo and the surrounding 12 lakes. After checkout, the drive to Entebbe airport takes you to your departure flight, ideally 18:00 or later.
