- NWNatalie· October 14th, 2025John was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable about everything! He would ask if someone was ill or hurt. There was lots of laughter. The group members were all great people! Some will stay connected! I learned so very much! Blindlestiff is NOT Blindstaff! I will never forget this trip and Thank you! BEST TRIP EVER! One suggestion, inform the attendees that there is a time limit for everything absolutely everything so they understand kind of what is happening and that there is no free time. Up early to see everything and done end of day. I feel like it was kind of like we had a timer on and we had to get things done. in reality, we had to have a timer to get to see everything that we saw so therefore I am very grateful. I would like to have known that we really were on the schedule and kind of explained why at the beginning of the trip for first time travelers who doesn’t know! John Harris was incredible.Show more Bindlestiff Tours commented on this reviewThank you for your review! John is a great guide and well adapted to showing off our beautiful part of the country. - Branwen· September 3rd, 2025Brilliant tour! You see so much in such a short time period! Literally can’t believe I’ve seen and experienced everything I did, life changing! I do think the camping price is expensive for what it is but I had a great time. Do your homework on the parks before you go! I took the guide’s advice and had a great time but you only have between 2-5 hours in each park so be savvy if you have your heart set on doing something! HOWEVER, just a couple of things you should know for the camping option: - the camping grounds are HARD, I mean rubble/gravel/stones in 5/6 grounds. Only one was on grass. I asked for 2 yoga mats by day 4 because I was so uncomfortable (I’m 33) - do NOT take a hard cased bag, mine wasn’t allowed in the tent which I get so it doesn’t damage it but it was left outside the trailer overnight (just as well I had a code lock on it) and it was battered and dirty by the end from opening it on the hard ground/gravel.Show more Bindlestiff Tours commented on this reviewThanks for the detailed review! - DWDavid· June 4th, 2025I flew from the Uk to Las Vegas last month and joined the 7 Day South West Highlights Tour. The scenery was magnificent of course and we were also lucky to have an excellent team of guides, Joe, Aurora and Grecia who were professional, knowledgeable and fun. They were also able to adapt to the hiking limitations of the travel group and contributed to a most memorable experience! Thank you.Show more Bindlestiff Tours commented on this reviewThanks so much for taking the time to leave a review – it’s much appreciated! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed your experience with us. - SJSayali· June 4th, 2025Couldn’t have expected anything better. Best way to see Utah and all the national parks. Not being extremely active, I was concerned closer to the trip. The trip was well planned, managed. I opted for camping option and tour guide and took care of very minor to major things. Campsites were beautiful. This was my first camping experience, Aurora made it very convenient and easy. The group had all age groups. Enjoyed every single day of the tour. I definitely got to experience all challenging hikes I wanted to do at my pace. I was traveling solo but left making some great friends. Would definitely recommend.Show more Bindlestiff Tours commented on this reviewThank you so much for your incredibly kind words and for awarding us a five-star rating! - JBJeanmarie· June 4th, 2025The itinerary was very well crafted and moving. Craig, our guide extraordinaire, made it come to life in the most spectacular way by encouraging us to keep on a manageable time table that allowed us to get the most out of every hike and view! Craig kept us on time, provided outstanding meals not only cooked wonderfully but provided a very pleasing and tasteful presentation. - DTDawn· May 24th, 2024The 7-day Southwest Highlights tour was amazing! Alex and Amber were terrific guides that helped to give us options to make the most of our time at each tour stop. They also took care of setting up camp most days and prepared great meals throughout the trip. The trip was well organized, and we stopped often during the drive. I recommend this tour to people who want an active vacation, checking a number of National Parks off their list, but don't want to do all of the research needed to make it happen.Show more Bindlestiff Tours commented on this reviewThank you for taking the time to leave a review on your tour. - BRBarry· May 21st, 2024All the sights were worth seeing. although some of the guided special tours were not as worthwhile. Camping equipment was good, campground bathrooms varied. Amy Jones was our tour guide. Very well organized, great balance of leadership and solicitation of consensual needs, except for food, where more questions would have been helpful. Great sense of humor and personality. Out of line with me on two occasions (not bad for a week), but otherwise very good rapport and made an experience I had concerns about pleasant. She genuinely cared for her crew and visa versa. Every member of our group was worth meeting.Show more Bindlestiff Tours commented on this reviewThank you so much for your review and feedback. - LLynne Traveler•Written February 2025I do not want to share a tent, can I get a solo one or bring my own? Also, if I chose the lodging option and wanted to be solo, is that possible and at what price?
Bindlestiff ToursOperator•Written February 2025 Bindlestiff ToursOperator•Written February 2025- If camping, a solo tent request can be made but not guaranteed. If the guide has enough gear to provide a solo tent, they will. Bringing your own tent is discouraged as we can't allow more luggage allowance per guest. Should you choose the lodging option, a solo supplement is already figured into the price of a solo booking. You would have your own room in that case.
