This tour departs at 7am on day 1. You must arrive night before tour. Pre/post not currently offered. Airport transfers are not included. You must make your way to one of the pick up points below on day 1 and ensure that your arrive 30 minutes before the departure time noted. 07:00 - Courtyard By Marriott Henderson Green Valley - 2800 North Green Valley Parkway, Henderson, Las Vegas, NV 89014. 07:15 - New York-New York Hotel - 3970 Las Vegas Blvd, S. Las Vegas, NV 89109. Note: Pax must let us know your chosen pick up point, prior to departure. Our tour comes to an end on arrival back in Las Vegas at approximately 18:00 at either of the above hotels (you can let your guide know which hotel you wish to be dropped off at)

Asked on January 14th, 2025I'm interested in your tour, but will be traveling with my mother who is elderly and I'm curious about the activities. Could she just hang out in the van or at the visitor centers for any hikes she might not be able to do?

This tour involves a lot of walking and hiking, and a decent fitness level is required. We typically hike 1-5 miles a day, but never more than a mile at a time. There are lookout points where passengers can stay while the group moves ahead. However, we can't leave passengers in the vehicle due to heat concerns and the need to secure personal belongings. Additionally, the vehicle would not be able to run for that length of time.

Regarding pick up from Vegas, where exactly is pick up? Is there a hotel in Vegas that they recommend for easy pick up and drop off? Will the tour still go on if there are few participants? On the return date, around what time will the tour be back in Vegas?

For our Utah's Mighty Five From Vegas - 5 days we do not have an option to share with another solo traveller of the same sex. So that would mean that as a solo traveller you would be booked as a single traveller. This tour has 2 pick up points the first is the Courtyard By Marriott Henderson Green Valley and the second is the New York-New York Hotel. You will need to allocated your preferred option at time of booking. This tour does have a minimum group size of 6 prior to it becoming guaranteed to depart. Our tour comes to an end on arrival back in Las Vegas at approximately 18:00.

The price at the moment for a solo traveller is $6,185 AUD. However this is seasonal, so the price can change depending on what time of year you're looking to go. The tour starts from the hotel. We usually use Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Salt Lake City. However this isn't confirmed until 60 days before departure date.

Regarding the hikes, its personal preference, people doing this tour would prefer to hike as its included for quite a bit of the itinerary. The guide on tour will be able to advise you best hikes and usually asks everyone doing the tour as to who would like to do the hikes or not and then you go together.
