Itinerary
- Day 1
Alice Springs to Kata Tjuta
Your pickup happens at 6 am from Alice Springs Hotel, then you'll head out to Kata Tjuta with its scattered boulders across the landscape. The main activity is a guided hike through the gorges and crevasses, which takes about 2 hours while your guide talks through the geological and ecological details of the area. You'll return to camp for dinner, and if the weather cooperates, you can spend time under the stars before settling in for your first night.

Uluru to Kings Canyon
This day starts early so you can catch the sunrise at Uluru. After that, you'll take a guided walk around the massive sandstone monolith for roughly 2 to 4 hours, learning about the indigenous history and significance of the site. Lunch comes next, then you'll visit the Uluru Cultural Center to look through Aboriginal arts and crafts. From there, it's a 3.5 hour drive to your campsite near Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon). You'll have dinner at the camp and spend the night there.

Kings Canyon to Alice Springs
After breakfast, you'll hike around Kings Canyon at Watarrka National Park, moving through its rock formations and checking out the amphitheater, the Lost City, the Garden of Eden, plus the North and South Walls. Lunch happens during the hike, then you'll have about a 5 hour drive back to Alice Springs where the tour wraps up when you arrive.
