Space prohibits me from going through all the details so here's a summary. 1. I get picked up late then told to hurry, hurry as the bus can't park long. 2. I'm greeted by the second grumpiest bus driver I've ever encountered. 3. We drive 15 minutes to swap to another bus driven by the grumpiness driver I've ever encountered. 4. Our Greek tour guide has average English but rambles on and on about trivia and telling you about things your not going to visit. After the lengthy diatribe she repeats the whole thing in French. 5. I have no detailed itinerary and when given a brochure it doesn't tie in well with what's actually happening because different people are getting off at different times. 6 I reach Nafplio (a lovely place) where they drop a few of us off at 13:00 in a carpark. We're told our hotel is over there (about 300 metres away) and dinner is on one of the resturants near the hotel, just ask the hotel and they'll work it out. We are then left to our own devices until 13:00 the next day when the bus will came past again. 7. I try to check-in and I'm told there is no reservation. Luckily the bus hasn't departed and they work out it's booked under the wrong name. When I explain I'm with 'Click Tours' they have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about. I then suggest that maybe it's under the 'Go Tours' name and they get it. 8. I decided to treat myself and selected the next level up hotel (extra cost) rather than the standard.. Have a look at the picture I took from my bedroom and you decide if you think the extra money is worth it. 9. The next day the Hotel check out is 11:00, so you have no choice but to hang around aimlessly in the heat for two hours. 10. Day one historical locations visited equals one, The Theatre of Epidaurus. 11. The only site of note we visit on day two is the Tomb of Agamemnon. Day three it was Ancient Olympia. Day four we visit a Delphi Archaeological Site anf the Museum These visits were interspearsd with visits to pottery, rug, cheap tee shirt and olive oil shops who were designed to sell overpriced trinkets to dumb tourists. Expect long days sitting on a bus, taken to overpriced resturants for lunch providing very average food and the rudest service I've ever experienced. In the end I had to swap busses 3 times. This is about the 15th tour I've done, it's the worst and for the price I'm sure that with a bit of research you could do much better than I did.

This was an excellent tour, bus, drivers and guide (Andronicus) were great, the guide was the best we've had. We went the 'first class' accomodation and it was. The way the tour was organised was really good, plenty of time at attractions in the morning and travel in afternoon was really appreciated in the summer heat. would recommend this tour (and the 5 day inc Meteora) for anyone who wants a good appreciation of Greece.
