Itinerary
- Day 1
El Calafate to El Chaltén
You'll land at El Calafate airport and catch a shuttle or bus heading to El Chaltén. After checking into your accommodation, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and get your bearings at your own pace.

- Day 2
El Chaltén
This is a free day for self-guided hiking. The popular choice is Laguna de los Tres, a route that takes about 4 hours to reach the lagoon at the base of Mt Fitz Roy. Starting between 7 and 8 am gives you enough daylight to complete the round trip without rushing.

- Day 3
El Chaltén
Another free day to hike on your own. Laguna Torre offers a shorter trek than yesterday and rewards you with views of Cerro Torre reflected in the lagoon. An early start in the morning is recommended to make the most of the daylight.

- Day 4
El Chaltén to El Calafate
Catch the 8 am bus from El Chaltén to El Calafate, arriving at the bus station around 11 am. From there, you'll head to your accommodation and have the rest of the day free to relax and wander around the town.



- Day 5
El Calafate
A guided full-day tour takes you through Los Glaciares National Park to Perito Moreno Glacier, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You'll walk along wooden boardwalks with direct views of the 60-meter ice wall, spending roughly 3 hours at various viewpoints.

El Calafate to Puerto Natales
After breakfast, head to the bus station to catch the morning bus toward Puerto Natales, Chile. Arrival timing varies depending on the bus service. Once there, make your way to your accommodation. You'll receive a video briefing and materials about Torres del Paine beforehand.

Las Torres Base Viewpoint
A bus takes you from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine, about 2 hours away. At base camp, you'll leave your heavy gear and trek up Ascencio Valley through Vientos pass and native lenga forest over rocky ground. By afternoon you reach Las Torres viewpoint to see three granite towers and their glacial lagoon, then hike back to Sector Central for dinner at the refugio.

- Day 8
Sector Central to Sector Frances
Trek starts along the quiet shores of Lake Nordenskjöld beneath Mount Almirante Nieto and its hanging glaciers. The route passes through Chileno Sector where you might see condors, then follows the Arriero river with water breaks. Later, you climb to the highest viewpoint overlooking the full lake and François Glacier on Paine Grande. Night at Refugio François.

Francés Valley Trek
Starting at 9 am, you'll trek toward Italiano Camping through François Valley. The hike passes a waterfall where you can refill water, offering mountain views and varied plant life. You'll reach François Valley viewpoint with one of the circuit's most beautiful vistas. If time allows, continue to Britanico lookout before returning to Refugio François for your third night.

Sector Francés to Puerto Natales (via Grey Glacier & Lake Pehoe)
Beginning at 8 am, you hike to Paine Grande then do a roundtrip to Grey Glacier Lookout. The first lookout takes 1.5 hours; continue along Lake Grey's west bank for another 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the main lookout with views of Grey Glacier and ice floes. Head back the same way to Pehoe Lake, then board a ferry to Puduto and transfer to Puerto Natales. Two ferry schedule options are available.

Puerto Natales to Punta Arenas
After breakfast and checking out, head to the bus station to catch a public bus to Punta Arenas Airport (or Punta Arenas city if you're not flying that day). Multiple buses run throughout the day, so timing is flexible based on your flight or plans.
