- JKJon· September 8th, 2024Staff including guides and support team were excellent. Food was of great quality. Rooms were kept very clean. Tours were educational and guides could spot and identify animals/ birds/flora very quickly. Not convinced the transport met the demands of the terrain. Some amendments to trips may have been neccessary but not always explained in advance A small fridge in the room would have been beneficial. The Cuiaba hotel was average and in a far from salubrious part of town. However what an experience overall - another bucket list item ticked. Now I wonder what is like in the wet season!!Show more

Traveler•Written May 2025It seems that no nights are in Porto Joffre. I would like to spend more days there to increase my chance of seeing jaguar. I was wondering if I could stay some nights in Porto Joffre and then continue back to cuiaba another day.

The current itinerary doesn't include overnight stays in Porto Jofre, but it's definitely possible to adjust the plan to spend more time there. Staying in Porto Jofre is a great idea to increase your chances of spotting jaguars, as it's one of the best locations for that. There are no other activities available in Porto Jofre besides the boat safaris for jaguar and wildlife spotting. We can customize the tour to include a few nights in Porto Jofre and arrange for your return to Cuiaba on a later day.

Yes it is possible to add an additional night. However, I need to check if there are other people who have booked on those days, because the single room price is calculated for reservations of min. 2 people.

The single room price is correct but requires a min. of 2 people traveling. For a solo traveler, the price it's not the same because you don't split the cost of transfers, excursions, guides. For a solo traveler, 5 nights, including the Jaguar Safari is 2100 USD (around 1940 Euro).

The driver will pick you up at the airport or the hotel where you'll be staying. Same for the return transfer. He will drive you to the airport or your hotel. The transfers are organized twice a day: one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

No problem if you arrive at night, nonetheless, if your flight arrives in the afternoon/evening I recommend considering sleeping one night in Cuiaba and leaving the next day for the Pantanal to take full advantage of the package with excursions.
