- sylvia· March 25th, 2022This was an absolutely fabulous tour for someone on a budget. I was a woman traveling alone and felt perfectly safe too. I really enjoyed all the tours and had no problems except one small miscommunication. We went I On a hike to a volcano and I was told it was 3 miles, but it ended up being 10 miles. I had broken my ankle about 6 months before so there were a few problems- but I made it and it was a wonderful hike. Overall completely enjoyed the experience. I would definitely recommend to others.Show more
- Dennis· November 27th, 2021Thanks to everyone involved...especially to Erika and Andres! Also thanks to my guides up the shield volcano. Thanks also to all the people who met me at ferries and shuttled me to hotels! Things went well and was the right balance of activity and rest time. The highlight for me was the snorkeling. While I have been to better reefs in the world (this was not a reef, but the lava rock shore), the diversity of marine life and closeness to nature and to its creatures was the best I have ever experienced!Show more
- Michael· August 23rd, 2025The 7 day Galapagos Islands tour is a good way to see 3 of the many islands. There are many early mornings activities so it was reassuring to have some free time before dinner. On the 3 mornings that require very early transfers, we only got breakfast once. The transfers require a short taxi ute ride followed by a short boat ride ($1 cost) before reaching the ferry (do not sit at the front as you will feel every bump and may not get fresh air (think fumes)). We selected Standard accommodation and we were disappointed with the lack of expected facilities (no chair to sit on, no towel rack, room facing the main street) but at least they had running water (once it was fixed at 1 hotel), a bed and air conditioning (1 sounded like a jet engine). The tours were great and catered for all participants (languages and speed of walking). If you do the hike to Sierra Negra, ensure you have good boots, sun cream, plenty of water and snacks and maybe walking poles to cope with the rough terrain after reaching the craters rim. If you go snorkelling ensure you hire wetsuits and we thought they were provided - they were only once provided out of the 3 occasions. Josselyn was very helpful notifying us of changes to times and fixing some of the accommodation problems.Show more
