Tokyo
Welcome to Japan. Meet your Adventure Leader and crew in the hotel lounge for a trip briefing covering what's ahead. You'll kick off with a teppanyaki welcome dinner with your group, then head out to see the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building's light show for your first look at Tokyo by night.

Tokyo
This morning you'll start with a hands-on sushi masterclass where local chefs teach you to slice, roll, and taste your own creations. After that, you're heading to Meiji Shrine where your Adventure Leader will pick up a protective charm and walk you through the omamori tradition. From there, it's time to wander around Harajuku to check out the quirky fashion and grab some street food. Later you'll hit Shibuya Crossing and see the Hachiko Statue. If you want to add more to your day, Shibuya Sky offers panoramic views of the city before you head back to your hotel.

Tokyo
Trade Tokyo's neon for old-school Japan with a trip to Shibamata, a nostalgic neighborhood from the Showa era. Walk down Taishakuten Sando with its traditional shops and snacks, then visit Shibamata Taishakuten Temple with beautiful carvings. Head to Asakusa for more historic character. In the evening, meet ex-sumo wrestlers, hear their stories and take photos before enjoying Chanko-Nabe, a hearty bowl of their favorite food.

Tokyo to Hakone
Swap Tokyo's buzz for Hakone's fresh mountain air. Take the Romance Car express for a scenic ride to Hakone Yumoto with time for lunch. Bus to Moto-Hakone and climb aboard a pirate ship cruise across Lake Ashi with great views. Watch for Mount Fuji on clear days. Soar above Owakudani's steaming volcanic valley by cable car, then return to your accommodation to unwind in the traditional onsen bath.

Hakone to Kyoto
Head to Odawara Station and board the legendary Shinkansen bullet train heading to Kyoto. Watch the countryside pass at high speed. After arriving in Japan's ancient capital and dropping luggage at the hotel, visit Higashi Honganji Temple with its huge wooden halls and peaceful atmosphere. Learn about a rope made from human hair used in reconstruction. Take a Japanese calligraphy class in the afternoon to create your own keepsake with brush, ink and paper. Finish with karaoke night, singing and bonding over songs.

Kyoto
Slow things down with a Camellia Tea Ceremony in the morning. Watch graceful rituals of pouring and preparing matcha, then whisk your own bowl and enjoy it with traditional sweets. Consider renting a kimono to make the experience more memorable. Wander through Kiyomizu-dera Temple with its dramatic wooden stage, hillside views and centuries of history. Explore nearby shops and grab lunch. Join a guided Gion tour in the afternoon to learn about geisha history, then stroll along Pontocho Alley's lantern-lit lanes. The evening is yours to explore.

Kyoto to Hiroshima
The morning is free to explore Kyoto your way. Chase the sunrise through Fushimi Inari's iconic gates, wander Nijo Castle's gardens, see the Golden Pavilion, get lost in Arashiyama's bamboo forest, or head to Nara to hang out with friendly deer. By afternoon, meet your Adventure Leader at the train station and take the bullet train to Hiroshima. Enjoy a group dinner of okonomiyaki, Hiroshima's legendary savory pancake layered with flavor.

Hiroshima to Miyajima
Head to Miyajima Island, a postcard-perfect setting. As the ferry approaches, catch your first view of Itsukushima Shrine's floating torii gate rising from the sea, one of Japan's most iconic sights. Wander the shrine grounds, then soar up Mount Misen by ropeway. You can ride both ways for views or hike back down through forest trails if you're feeling energetic. Return to Hiroshima to visit the Peace Memorial Museum with an audio guide, a moving experience sharing stories of resilience.

Hiroshima to Okayama to Osaka
Board the bullet train heading to Okayama. Explore the Kurashiki Bikan Quarter with timeless streets and canal-side views. Walk past traditional shopfronts, cozy cafes and sweet stalls, or take a boat ride along the willow-lined canal for a postcard-perfect view of this old merchant town. Stroll through Korakuen, one of Japan's Three Great Gardens, with seasonal colors and Edo period elegance. Return to the bullet train heading to Osaka. After dropping bags at the hotel, the night is yours to explore or relax. Try Kushikatsu, Osaka's famous deep-fried skewers.

As evening falls, gather for a farewell dinner at a local spot, the perfect chance to share favorite moments and celebrate your adventure across Japan.
