- Veronika· May 6th, 2025First time travelling with Expat Travel. Best way to see the must see sights is through an organized tour. Matia our tour guide was excellent, funny and very knowledgeable. Always available throughout the tour. Matteo was the best bus driver you could have. Loved the itinerary, the mixture of world famous cities, charming seaside villages and medieval towns. Definitely will be back.Show moreTrip date: April 2025

- Deborah· September 14th, 2024It was pretty fast paced. I was not thrilled about the requirement to pay cash for all of the excursions. I was also not too happy that the tour guide solicited tips for herself and the bus driver. It would have gone over better if the tip expectation was mentioned when signing up for the tour. Other than that, it was lovely. It would also have been nice if written maps were provided as it was easy to get lost.Show moreTrip date: September 2024

I appreciated his kind concern for everyone on the tour and he went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed every minute!Show moreTrip date: May 2024

Traveler•Written August 2025I'm thinking of maybe leaving the walking tour of Florence early to go to the Florence Accademia. Where does the walking tour end in Florence? Is there any point during the tour that we are close to the Florence Accademia?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written August 2025
The Walking Tour in Florence will end at Leonardo's Leather Shop at around 5PM. The address is Borgo dei Greci, 16/A, 50122 Firenze FI, Italy which is about 13 Minutes away from Accademia Gallery and you can choose to leave the group there and head for the Accademia then regroup for Dinner at around 6:30 PM.

Bianca
Traveler•Written August 2025Can you tell me all the places that we will be seeing on the walking tour of Florence?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written August 2025
While we don't have the exact step-by-step breakdown for the 1 hour and 30-minute locally-guided walking tour in Florence, your tour leader and local guide will go over everything on the day itself. You'll get to enjoy a wonderful introduction to Florence's rich history and Renaissance heritage, with the walk ending at Leonardo's Leather Shop around 5:00 PM. From there, you're more than welcome to head off and explore places not covered on the tour — for example, the Accademia Gallery is about 13 minutes away, and you'll have some free time before regrouping for dinner at around 6:30 PM.

Asked on July 2nd, 2025When we get in Italy Airport someone is picking us up? Taken us to the hotel?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025
For our tours, customers will need to make their way to the starting location on Day 1. Regrettably, we can no longer assist with transfers. We recommend using public transport for airport-to-hotel transportation.

Asked on April 7th, 2025Are you able to recommend any tours around the same time, going to the same locations where 3 people can share a room. We are coming from Australia and would like to do a tour going from Rome to Venice.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written April 2025
Since your group consists of three adults, here's how we can accommodate them: One person will be paired with another traveller of the same gender. Alternatively, the single traveller can choose to upgrade to a private room (subject to availability).

Traveler•Written April 2025It's a shame that there are no rooms to accommodate 3 people. I don't like to share with strangers. Also, I'm not prepared to spend a lot extra to be in a room on my own.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written April 2025
We at Expat Explore do not have tours that includes accommodations for 3 People in 1 room.

Asked on March 7th, 2025Is it possible for 17/18 yr to share with their younger sibling. And the mom share with the other child.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written March 2025
As per European hotel rules and policy, three travelers are not permitted to stay in one room with twin beds. The third traveler would need to either be roomed with a fellow traveler of the same gender or purchase a single supplement.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written March 2025
The tour may just be too overwhelming and physically demanding for the 9 and 10 year old.
