Ho Chi Minh City
You'll arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and connect with your guide at the hotel around 4pm. There's a complimentary airport transfer from Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport, which takes about 30 minutes. Before the welcome meeting and walking tour, if you get in early, you can wander around on your own and check out places like the Presidential Palace or War Crimes Museum. The afternoon tour covers the Opera House, Hotel de Ville, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the GPO building with your guide.

Cu Chi Tunnels
This morning you'll drive 1.5 hours from Ho Chi Minh City to pick up bikes near an old US military base. Then you'll cycle about 30km to Ben Dinh to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels with a local guide, learning about their history from the French occupation through the Vietnam War when 10,000 Viet Cong troops used them as an underground command base. After lunch, you'll continue cycling roughly 20km towards Ben Nay before heading back to Saigon by vehicle, arriving in early evening.

Dong Nai - Cat Tien
You'll head out early by minivan to Dong Nai District, about 2.5 hours away. From there you'll cycle through coffee, tea, and cashew fields with photo stops and time to interact with locals. Lunch happens at a small stream-side restaurant called Thác Ba Giếu with a forest rest nearby. In the afternoon, you'll keep cycling towards the buffer zone of Cat Tien National Park, grab a coffee break, then transfer to Cat Tien Jungle Lodge for the night.

Elephant Waterfalls - Da Lat
After breakfast at the forest resort, you'll drive about 1.5 hours to a charming village and then cycle to Elephant Waterfalls. The route takes you down to Nam Bang and continues on gentle hilly backroads through Ta Nung towards Da Lat Valley City. Along the way you'll taste local foods and try blend coffee made by native coffee plantation workers. Once you reach Da Lat, you'll check into your 4-star hotel and explore the nightlife.

Hon Giao Pass - Khanh Vinh - Nha Trang
You'll depart Da Lat by bus, about 30 minutes to the ride start. The first 20km follows relatively quiet mountain roads with ascents and descents. Next comes a challenging section with 30km leading to Hon Giao Pass at 1,700m elevation through pine forests with dramatic mountain scenery. After resting at the top, you'll enjoy roughly 30km of virtually uninterrupted descent towards Khanh Vinh for lunch. A bus then takes you to Nha Trang, approximately 1.5 hours away.

Nha Trang
Today's yours to rest and recover. There's an optional boat cruise exploring the surrounding seas and islands with swimming stops and snorkeling equipment available for hire. You'll visit a private island with time to relax and swim, and can rent sun loungers and parasols if you want. Drinks, seafood lunch, and snacks are available on the island at your own expense. The boat returns to Nha Trang in the afternoon, leaving the rest of the day free.

Landmarks Nha Trang Bay - Day 7
Quy Nhon
Today combines bus and bike travel along the coast towards Quy Nhon. You'll start cycling from the hotel through heavier traffic leaving Nha Trang, which thins out along Pham Van Dong road and the coastal route to Ninh An toll station, roughly 18km. Then a 1-hour bus ride gets you to Dai Lanh for swimming and relaxation. After that, you'll continue by bus over Ca Pass to Bai Tien Song Cau, resume cycling with a 42km ride to finish in Quy Nhon.

- Day 8
Hoi An
You'll leave Quy Nhon cycling across Thi Nai Bridge, the longest sea bridge in Vietnam connecting the city with Phuong Mai Peninsula. From there you'll bike approximately 50km along the Quy Nhon lagoon towards Phu My. A bus takes you from Phu My to Quang Ngai, a historically significant site of the My Lai massacre during the Vietnam War. You'll visit the site and its visitor center before traveling by bus to Hoi An Ancient Town, a journey of 2 to 3 hours.

This morning you'll walk through the historic heart of Hoi An, a World Heritage Site. You'll see the famous Japanese Bridge and its museum, wander among traditional wooden houses and Chinese temples. The town was a busy international trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries and still keeps its charm. The afternoon is free for optional activities like a gentle boat ride, Vietnamese cooking class, visiting tailor shops, or exploring further by bike.

Hai Van Pass - Lang Co - Hue
You'll travel by bus from Hoi An up the coast to Danang, then up the winding mountain road to Hai Van Pass summit. This scenic region once marked the boundary between Vietnam and the Champa Kingdom, offering spectacular views at the top. From there you'll descend by bus to Lang Co where your bike ride starts. You'll cycle along scenic back roads beside Cau Hai Lagoon to Phu Bai, meet the bus in Thuan An, and drive about 1 hour to Hue on the Perfume River.

Perfume River - Hanoi
Early morning you'll visit the impressive Old Citadel on the left bank of the Perfume River. Then you'll start your final bike ride, following the Perfume River route to the 19th century Nguyen Tomb of Ming Mang. After visiting the mausoleum, you'll return to the hotel to freshen up. Mid to late afternoon you'll head out on an overnight train to Hanoi in soft-sleeper four berth cabins with bunk beds and bedding provided. Both Western and Asian toilets are at the end of each carriage.

Ha Long Bay
You'll arrive in Hanoi around 5:30am and transfer to the hotel in Old Quarter for breakfast and a short break. At 8:00 to 8:30am you'll transfer to Tuan Chau Marina via the Hanoi-Hai Phong Expressway. You'll reach Ha Long Bay around 11:30am to 12:00pm for a cruise welcome, briefing, and welcome drink. Lunch runs from 12:45 to 1:30pm with a deluxe Vietnamese set menu and fresh seafood while passing karst formations. From 3:00 to 5:30pm you'll visit Luon Grotto by kayaking or bamboo boat ride before spending the night on the cruise.

Hanoi
Wake up early for optional coffee, tea, and breakfast around 6:30 to 7:00am with possible sunrise viewing from the cruise if you're up for it. A tai chi class might be offered. After breakfast from 7:45 to 9:00am, you'll visit Sung Sot Cave, one of Ha Long Bay's most magnificent and largest caves. You'll climb more than 50 steps to the cave mouth and explore two large chambers with million-year-old stalactites and columns. At 9:30am you'll pack or relax on the sundeck. Lunch happens 10:15 to 11:00am before heading back to Hanoi by 12:00 to 4:00pm. Evening dinner with the crew wraps up the day.
