Itinerary
- Day 1
Phnom Penh
You'll arrive in Cambodia and get transferred to your hotel in Phnom Penh. After settling in, head out to see the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, which contains sacred Buddhist relics. The National Museum is next if you have energy, where you can walk through galleries of Khmer art and sculptures. In the afternoon, travel to the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, a memorial site that's important but emotionally heavy. If there's time before dinner, stop by Russian Market to browse handicrafts and local goods.

- Day 2
Phnom Penh to Kampong Cham
After your safety briefing, you'll start riding your dirt bike along village roads heading toward Kampong Cham. Stop at a silk weaving village to watch artisans working traditional wooden looms, then check out family workshops making traditional mats. You'll cross the Mekong on a wooden ferry like locals do, which gives a real sense of how people get around here. By evening, you'll check into your hotel in Kampong Cham, a charming colonial town along the river.

Landmarks Mekong River - Day 3
Kampong Cham to Kratie
Continue riding along the Mekong and make your way to Wat Hanchey, a 1,500-year-old temple sitting on a hilltop with river views stretching out below you. As you ride toward Kratie, you'll pass through rubber plantations and cassava fields. Later in the afternoon, head back to your hotel to clean up before heading out again to watch freshwater Mekong dolphins at Kampi around sunset. It's a peaceful way to end the riding day.

Kratie to Sen Monorom
Leave Kratie early and head toward the eastern highlands with some challenging off-road trails mixed in to test your skills. The terrain changes as you transition to uphill roads with views opening up around you. You'll arrive in Sen Monorom, and if there's daylight left, take a shorter ride around town to see nearby waterfalls and visit hill tribe villages in the area.

- Day 5
Sen Monorom to Ban Lung
Ride north from Sen Monorom toward Ratanakiri through quiet forest roads via Koh Nhek. Stop at a halfway town along the way and possibly a waterfall if the timing works out. Arrive in Ban Lung and get settled at your hotel, then take a short ride around this red-soil town. Before dark, head to Yeak Laom crater lake to watch the sunset and see how the water reflects the light.

Ban Lung to Stung Treng
Head northwest from Ban Lung through bamboo forests toward Veun Sai on the Se San River's left bank, where you'll see a Chinese village across the water. This area has a lot of Chinese influence, and most people speak Chinese rather than Khmer. Stop at Ka Choan to see Tumpoun funeral totems that are quite striking. Later, ride west toward the Mekong and end up in Stung Treng, a riverside town where you'll spend the night.

Stung Treng
After several days of riding, you'll stay at a nice lodge by the Mekong for a rest day. The focus is on relaxing and recharging, though activities are available if you'd rather stay busy. It's a good chance to let your body recover and maybe grab some decent meals without worrying about the road.

Stung Treng to Ta Seng
Head west across the Mekong toward Cambodia's northern border with Laos to see Sopheakmitr, also called Khone Falls, the largest waterfall in the world. During rainy season from May through September, it spreads across 10.67 kilometers, which is more than twice as wide as the world's second-largest waterfall. Continue on to Ta Seng village where you'll stay overnight in a village homestay, sleeping where locals live.

Ta Seng to Siem Reap
Start by exploring Ta Seng, a thousand-year-old city that was once an important settlement in the region. Ride to Preah Khan Kampong Svay, also known as the Great Preah Khan, a massive religious temple complex built by one of Angkor's last kings that covers 5 million square meters. After walking through this giant temple, head back toward Siem Reap. When you arrive, you'll have time to relax and watch the sunset over this city where four rivers meet.
