Take an overnight bus to Siem Reap. Visit the floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake early in the dry season for the best experience. Wake up at 4am for sunrise at Angkor temples. Take a ride on the famous Bamboo Train and watch thousands of bats fly out of their caves at Phnom Sampov during sunset. "The colonial buildings and traditional wooden houses over 100 years old gave us a wonderful glimpse into Cambodia's past."

- Days 6-7

Visit the Central Market built during French colonial times in the morning when temperatures are cooler.

Take your time going back to Siem Reap with a stop at Skun's spider market. This unique spot might test your courage if you are squeamish. For Angkor Wat, you can join the sunrise crowds or visit in mid-afternoon when it's quieter. One visitor noted: "Ta Prohm was magical in late afternoon light, with fewer people and beautiful shadows through the tree roots." Take a break from temples with a day in the countryside. Try an ox-cart ride through Chansar village to meet local people. On your final day, take an early morning boat ride (7-8 AM) on Tonle Sap Lake to see the fishing villages at their busiest.

I has the MOST amazing trip across the beautiful Cambodia, with the amazing Mat. This trip really gives you a rounded and full experience of Cambodia - from the chilling killing fields to the amazing beaches of Koh Rong. The knowledge of the local guides was second to none. Accommodation was lovely especially in Phnom Penh. And the food offered was both local and western but all very nice. Do this trip!
