    Frankfurt/Munich to Lima

    Your flight departs from Frankfurt or Munich headed to Lima. You'll arrive either late at night or early in the morning, and your hotel room will be ready for you when you get there.

  2. Day 2

    Lima

    After landing at Jorge Chavez airport, your local tour guide will meet you and drive you to your hotel. The rest of your day is free to wander around Lima on your own and get a feel for the city.

  3. Day 3

    Lima to Arequipa

    This morning you'll take a city tour covering Lima's historic center and the modern Miraflores district. Stop by the local market in Surquillo to try Peruvian fruits, then walk through Plaza Mayor to see the colonial buildings. The Larco Museum comes next, where you can check out pre-colonial artifacts. By evening you'll head to the airport for your flight to Arequipa, with a transfer to your hotel waiting for you there.

    You'll travel toward Yura through striking canyons and streams, then drive through Pampa Cañahuas nature reserve where you can see free-roaming vicuñas in their natural habitat. The route takes you through Vizcachani and the pampas before reaching Patapampa viewpoint at 4,800m/15,750ft with panoramic volcano views. Lunch happens in Chivay village before you check into your hotel at Colca Canyon.

    An early start takes you to Cross of the Condor viewpoint where you'll watch condors soar above the Colca Valley. You'll then visit several villages including Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma, and Yanque, stopping at viewpoints like Antahuilque and Choquetico. After returning to Chivay, the drive continues via Patahuasi toward Puno, passing through stone forests and high-altitude lakes above 4,000m/13,120ft. Expect about 6 hours of driving before reaching your Puno hotel.

    Puno

    You'll spend the full day on Lake Titicaca, the world's highest navigable lake for large ships. A motorboat takes you to the Uros floating rush islands where you'll learn how the Uro tribe lives on these unique communities. Then you'll head to Llachón to meet locals, learn about traditional plants and textiles, and watch traditional spinning techniques. A walk to various Llachón beaches follows before you return to Puno.

    This day trip takes you to the Sacred Valley of the Incas starting with Chinchero village, where you'll see Inca ruins and a colonial church. The Sunday market here is known for authentic traditional barter trading. You'll meet weavers making alpaca wool textiles with natural dyes, then tour the Maras salt mines that have been in use since Inca times. Later you'll visit a traditional chicheria to taste Inca drinks and try cuy (guinea pig). The day ends at Moray archaeological site with its concentric agricultural terraces that go down up to 150m deep.
