- AAAlaine· December 7th, 2024This was a great way to experience parts of Wales. The driver/ guide was great, the accommodation excellent and the landscape was beautiful. We were a small group yet we had the best time together. Met some very friendly locals on our trip.Show moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThank you so much for sharing such positive sentiments on your trip!Trip date: December 2024
- CMChristine· November 9th, 2024This tour far exceeded my expectations! The towns, the landscape, the castles, and the seacoast is truly welcoming and relaxing. Five days was just the right amount of time and the itinerary was well thought out. I believe I got a great overview of Wales and I am already planning return trips to Wales to visit areas that sparked my interest.Show moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThank you so much for sharing your experience with us!Trip date: October 2024
- VGValerie· September 14th, 2024Our tour of Wales was excellent, well organised and most enjoyable. A very well-informed guide and first-class driver. The B&B accommodation was clean and very comfortable and conveniently located.Show moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewMany thanks for taking the time to share your experience!Trip date: September 2024
- JRJill· August 15th, 2024I enjoyed my tour. I have only one comment. I felt there was too much time sitting in a cramped minibus! Every day and for hours at a time., before we arrived at our fascinating destination. Then the visits were short. I would suggest fewer locations and at least one full day to experience the location. Our guide was full of information and looked after us wellShow moreOn The Go Tours commented on this reviewThank you for taking the time to pass on your comments.Trip date: August 2024

Asked on March 11th, 2025Could you please advise if the traveller can join the adventure in Bristol instead of London?
- On The Go ToursOperator•Written March 2025
Unfortunately that would not be possible as this tour only goes near Bristol on the way back so they would miss the whole tour! If you are able to join us for the start from London, we would love to welcome you on this incredible journey that takes you to the breathtaking landscapes and historic gems of Wales on the Welsh Wanderer – 5 Days tour.

Asked on December 3rd, 2024wanted to ask if i could book a custom trip. A trip touring wales, england and scotland and back to wales preferably Cardiff.
- On The Go ToursOperator•Written December 2024
Unfortunately we are not currently providing custom tours. All our Welsh tours will start in London, but it is easy to get a train from Cardiff to London. In terms of doing Scotland as well, we can do a back to back tour! What I would suggest is ending in Edinburgh so you are not looping back down on yourself and then you can get the train from Edinburgh to Cardiff or fly.

Asked on November 27th, 2024Is there any opportunity to be dropped off at Heathrow airport at the end of the tour? We need to be there by 6 pm or we cannot join the tour.
- On The Go ToursOperator•Written November 2024
Sadly we are unable to organise a drop off at Heathrow at the end of the tour. Even if we were able to as this day is a full day of touring we would not be able to guarantee that you would be at the airport by 1800hrs.

Asked on April 14th, 2024I was wondering what is considered a simple guesthouse and looking at 2 double and 1 single room - want better understanding between regular and hotel room with clarification on guest house accommodation
- On The Go ToursOperator•Written April 2024
B&Bs are traditionally small family owned and run properties offering a handful of guest rooms, usually with shared bathroom facilities (ensuite rooms are sometimes available). They are usually residential properties, so they tend to be located on the outskirts of towns and you should be prepared for a 20-30 minute walk to local facilities like pubs and restaurants. It's unusual for a B&B to offer any additional services like concierge, porterage, evening meals or room service. Wi-fi is usually, but not always available and it's worth bearing in mind that access can be unreliable in more remote locations. Breakfast will be included unless otherwise noted. The type of breakfast provided will vary from place to place so you may receive either a full cooked breakfast, a continental style breakfast (E.g., toast, fruit, cereal), or a packed breakfast bag or tray. Hotels vary in size but tend to be larger properties run by a team of staff. They usually have a relatively central location but may be up to a 20-30 minute walk from local facilities. They are often housed in traditional old buildings and bathrooms are always for private use and are typically ensuite. A buffet breakfast is typically included with a hotel stay. The services and facilities offered by hotels varies considerably so you should make a special request at the time of booking if you expect anything specific such as concierge, porterage, bar, restaurant, room service etc. Wi-fi may only be available in communal areas and access can be unreliable in remote locations.
