Ali is a wonderful Guide, reliable, on time, safe driver, interesting explanations and very nice private conversations. He assisted soooo nice with fotos and it was a lot of fun to travel with him. All accomodations were very good, we sleeped very well, had great service and lots of delicious moroccan food. The long time drives felt short thanks to his music which let you dream during driving through stunning landscapes. We went there during Ramadan, which was no problem. Ali brought us to lunch when we wished. He organized us a beautiful last accomodation which was brand new and with a great view. Ali let us feel welcome every second during the whole trip. He showed us his beautiful country and culture. It was a honor to meet his family and cook with them. He made of the planned tour a private tour fitting perfectly to our interests. He knows so much about the history and culture of the country and people and you will learn and experience so much! All of the hotels that he booked were great and you can trust that you are in good hands. In June it will be hot so be prepared when going on tours during the day but it cools off at night. This tour was definitely the highlight of the trip and when we return to Morocco we will make sure to contact them again. He had very intimate knowledge of all of Morocco and was able to get us some exclusive tours, great hotels, and delicious food. The days in the desert were definitely the highlight of the trip with the camel rides and off roading. I definitely recommend this tour and especially Ali if he is available. Ali from Morocco Joy Travel did a great job of communicating with me in advance to help answer some questions I had about the location in Erg Chebbi, as I wanted to be sure that I could very easily be on the dunes for both sunset and sunrise on the two nights out there so that I could take photos. Ali also checked in with me throughout the tour to ensure things were going well. The tour ultimately ended up being a private tour, since I was a solo traveller who paid the single supplement and there were no other travelers booked for my date. Said was a wonderful guide-driver. We saw some amazing scenery throughout the tour, and Said gave great insights into life in Morocco and particularly Berber culture, since his family is from a Berber village in the desert. The accommodation en route was really wonderful, and Said was helpful in suggesting the best menu options at a number of the lunch locations. If traveling during hotter months, I recommend booking the upgrade to the luxury camp with air conditioning. I did not do this in advance, but when we saw what the temps would be, Ali proactively confirmed that the luxury camp had an available tent and offered me the opportunity to book it for a reasonable upgrade fee.
