- Rebecca· September 22nd, 2024Very enjoyable tour. Rabbie's guide Kate was wonderful. The BnB in York was very pleasant. My only suggestion to Rabbies is maybe a little more time in Conwy and Stratford upon Avon, and less time in Buxton, Lincoln, and Cambridge. Buxton had little to do and was disappointing. It didn't warrant being left for several hours in comparison to Stratford-upon-Avon with its many shops and restaurants which we only had 2.5 hours to expolore. We were dropped of in Cambridge and Lincoln for longer than necessary and enjoyed that final day the least. But all and all, I would recommend Rabbie's and would use them again.Show moreTrip date: September 2024

Asked on May 12th, 2025can you give us a quote for two adults and 6 children for the tour package
- Rabbie's ToursOperator•Written May 2025
The cost of this tour depends on the type of accommodation. We don't offer any 4 person rooms on our tours, and the children are unable to stay by themselves in a room. Can I ask how old the children are? The rate for an adult in B&B accommodation would be £903.63 per person, and the child's rate would be £874.25 per person. For the Hotel accommodation option, the adult rate is £1045.63 per person and the child rate is £1016.25 per person.

Asked on March 17th, 2025Are meals included in the package?

Asked on March 13th, 2025Interested in the 5 day Heart of England, Wales, Yorkshire tour dates in May 2026 and the price of tour for 2 adults over 60. And what are accommodations from B&B to hotel and how does the group stay together if in different accommodations. We like to explore the town we are staying in and is that possible with either accommodation?
- Rabbie's ToursOperator•Written March 2025
You can choose a hotel package or a B&B if you prefer. We try to keep people with the same accommodation preferences together but this is not always possible due to availability. Hotels tend to be a bit more central, but you'll have plenty of time to explore the towns where the tour stays overnight as the driver-guide will aim to drop you off in the evening at approximately 6pm.

Traveler•Written March 2025What is the avg price for the hotel package and any additional charges associated with this trip. Do you know when approximately you would have dates and rates for Aug-Sept 2026.
- Rabbie's ToursOperator•Written March 2025
If you book this package through Tourradar, all your accommodation and attractions are included as part of the cost. There may be some entrance fees that we can't prebook, in which case you can pay on the door when you arrive. For the B&B option, a single room would cost £1045.63 per person and the double/twin room option is £903.63 per person. The Hotel option is slightly more expensive, a total of £1303.63 per person for the single room option, and £1045.63 for the double/twin option. These prices are based on an August or September departure for 2025. The 2026 rates may differ slightly. We normally announce of 2026 schedule and prices by the end of the Summer, so please check back with us then for an update.

Traveler•Written March 2025What is the cost breakdown for the tour ; I'm confused that when I clicked on " Confirm Dates " there is cost refering to accommodation which are different to the listed Tour price of $ 1850 /adult ; can you please clarify what are the tour costs before we book which we are keen to do today
- Rabbie's ToursOperator•Written March 2025
This tour departs from the Greenline Coach Terminal on Bulleid Way in Victoria, London, SW1W 9SH. If you just put 'Bulleid Way' into Maps on your phone this will take you straight there. We are available on the phone on the morning of your tour if you need any further directions. I would recommend doing a bit of research in how to find the departure point prior to your tour departure to avoid any stress on the day. For the B&B Double/Twin room option in August 2025, the price would be £903.63 per person, so £1807.26 in total for 2 passengers. The Hotel option is slightly more expensive, £1045.63 per person for the Double/Twin room option, so £2091.26 in total for 2 pax. There is a single supplement so single rooms are more expensive.

Asked on February 20th, 2025Is there a difference in quality between Hotels and B&Bs?
- Rabbie's ToursOperator•Written February 2025
B&Bs are usually smaller, family-run guesthouses, while hotels are larger organizations. Hotel rooms tend to be of a higher standard.

Traveler•Written February 2025Can we be guaranteed that we'll get a ground floor room in the B&B?
- Rabbie's ToursOperator•Written February 2025
There is no strenuous activities as part of this tour itinerary. At some stops there might be the opportunity to walk around a bit or do a short hike, but if you would rather do your own thing this is not a problem.
- Rabbie's ToursOperator•Written February 2025
When booking you can mention that you would like a ground floor room in your accommodation, and our team can try our best to source this for you. It does depend on availability and prices at the B&B so this is not something we can guarantee.

Asked on January 2nd, 2025Do we walk on the iron bridge? Is there a museum? Do we walk to Shrewsbury? On day two how much time do we have at the castle and do we walk or ride when we roam the mountains? Are we walking or riding on day three? How long do we have at Chatsworth Home and Gardens? On day five how much time do we have at the Lincoln Cathedral and how much time do we have at Cambridge?
- Rabbie's ToursOperator•Written January 2025
We spend approximately 1hr at Ironbridge on the first day, so there should be plenty of time to walk on the bridge. You wouldn't want to walk to Shrewsbury from here as we arrive at approximately 4pm and it's 15-miles from the city; like I say above, our tours take place on mini-buses, so you will be transported in the bus to your overnight stay. On day 2, you get approximately 2hrs in Conwy, to visit the castle and get some refreshments or an early lunch as well. Again, whilst this isn't a walking tour, there will be plenty of viewpoints that we stop at throughout the day for between 10-20 minutes each time; including at the Snowdon Viewpoint point, Llyn Padarn, etc, so you'll be able to stretch your legs and get some pictures. On Day 3, you'll be at Chatsworth House for approximately 3hrs in the afternoon. On Day 5, we spend around 1hr in Lincoln and 2hrs in Cambridge. This is free time to spend as you please.

Traveler•Written December 2024Is it possible to join a tour which would visit the following: Shropshire, Hadrian's Wall, Langley Castle, Edinburgh and environs Perhaps 2 or 3 overnights? Conway, Wales an overnight or two in a typical Welsh small village, Loch Lomond. Is that too ambitious for 10 days? I rely on your expertise. And it is most likely that there will be 4 adults and 3 children. What do you suggest?
- Rabbie's ToursOperator•Written December 2024
It sounds like a private tour might be what you're after. We don't offer trips that would explore all of your locations. Our trips from Manchester are for a maximum of 3 days and explore the surrounding area of England and Wales. The most similar tour would probably be our London to Edinburgh Adventure 8-day tour that departs from London and would explore the following locations: Conwy Castle, Hadrian's Wall, Edinburgh.
