You are correct if you book out hotel option for this tour you will start in basic style hotels that will ensuited bathrooms. If you were to book the B&B option for this tour. B&Bs are usually smaller residential properties, with just a handful of guest rooms. You'll have a bedroom, bathroom and often, access to a communal dining room for breakfast. Rooms will always be clean and comfortable, with a private bathroom. Bathrooms are usually en-suite, but on rare occasions, access may be via a communal hallway. This means that the bathroom will still be private and only for your personal use, but it is not en-suite (located in the room). You will need to leave the room to use the bathroom.

The cost of $1866 for 4 nights/5 days includes a solo supplement, which is necessary because most travel packages are priced for double occupancy. This means that when traveling solo, the entire cost of accommodations (intended to be shared) needs to be covered by a single guest, which can increase the per-day rate.

Those companies will pair you up with another solo traveller. We spent many years pairing people up on our tours and we have found that more times then not, it caused issues. We have a wide variety of people that travel with us and in pairing people up we can not always guarantee that they will be paired with something that is compatible with them. For this reason, we do ask our single travellers to have their own room for the tour! Since making this change, we have found people are a lot happier and have a much better experience when on the tour.

This tour is a really great experience and you will see some absolutely stunning parts of both England and Wales. With a max group size of 16 people it is very likely you will all end up staying together in the same place. However, as some people may choose to upgrade to a hotel you may be separated but all of the accommodation offered will be very close together plus all transportation is provided.
