- Day 1
Lima
After touching down, you'll get transferred to your hotel where you can get settled and rest from travel.

- Day 2
Lima
This morning you'll take a city tour through Lima's colonial center, checking out the historic architecture and streets. Later you'll head to the Larco Herrera Museum to see their collection of pre-Columbian artifacts and artwork.

Lima to Arequipa
You'll fly to Arequipa, called the White City because of all the white stone buildings throughout. After arriving and getting to your hotel, spend the afternoon walking around the city and visiting the Santa Catalina Monastery with its colorful courtyards and cloisters.

- Day 4
Arequipa to Colca
Start early and drive up through the Andean highlands heading toward Colca Valley. On the way you'll stop at a local market to see what people sell, then continue to your hotel in the valley.

Colca Canyon to Puno
Before sunrise you're heading out for a drive through Colca Valley to reach Cruz del Condor viewpoint. From there you can look down into the canyon and watch for condors flying below. After that, you'll drive to Puno with other travelers on the tour.

- Day 6
Puno
Today you'll take a boat across Lake Titicaca visiting several islands. You'll stop at Taquile Island, see the Luquina municipality on the Chuquito peninsula, and visit one of the Uros floating islands made entirely of reeds.

Puno to Cuzco
You'll travel by bus through the Andes to Cuzco alongside other tour members, driving through high mountain scenery. Along the way you'll visit the Viracocha Temple and the Church of Andahuaylillas before arriving in Cuzco by evening. There's an optional train alternative if you want to pay extra.

Cuzco
You have the morning free to relax or do what you want around your hotel. In the afternoon, head out for a city tour of Cuzco's center including the Koricancha Sun Temple and the cathedral.

Cuzco to Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes
Head out early toward Urubamba Valley to see the Maras salt terraces cut into the mountainside. Then you'll check out Moray, an ancient circular site, and visit Ollantaytambo fortress. Later in the afternoon you'll take the train to Aguas Calientes.

Machu Picchu to Cuzco
A shuttle bus takes you up to Machu Picchu early in the morning where you'll have a guided tour of the ruins. You'll return by train in the late afternoon, heading back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy and then continuing to Cuzco.

Cuzco
You have the full day to explore Cuzco on your own schedule. There are optional excursions available if you want to join them, but otherwise you're free to wander the city however you like.

Cuzco to Trujillo
You'll head to the airport and fly to Trujillo, with a connection through Lima. Once you arrive in Trujillo, you'll get transferred to your hotel.

Trujillo
This morning you'll see the Moon Pyramid and get views of the Sun Temple from there. Later you'll stop in the fishing village of Huanchaco where traditional reed boats are still used and stored on the beach. The day wraps up at the Dragon Temple, also called the Rainbow Temple.

You'll drive north toward Chiclayo and stop at the archaeological site of El Brujo along the way. You'll arrive in Chiclayo in the late afternoon and check into your hotel.

Chiclayo
After breakfast, you'll visit Huaca Rajada to see the tomb of the Lord of Sipan, an important Moche ruler. Then you'll tour the Tumbas Reales Museum. In the afternoon, head to Tucume to see the complex of 26 mud brick pyramids in that area.

Chiclayo to Cocachimba
You'll spend the full day driving, crossing over the Andes and heading inland toward Cocachimba. It's a long drive but you'll be moving through some interesting terrain.

Cocachimba - Gocta - Cocachimba
Today's a full-day trip to Gocta Waterfall, which is one of the highest waterfalls in the world. You'll do about a 2.5-hour hike through untouched mountain rainforest to get there, so bring comfortable shoes and water.

Cocachimba to Kuelap to Chachapoyas
After breakfast you'll travel to the Kuelap ruins, a major citadel built by the Chachapoyas culture and one of Peru's most significant archaeological sites. A cable car can take you up daily except Mondays, which is convenient if you prefer not to hike.

You'll get transferred to Jaen airport for your flight to Lima, ending your tour through Peru.
