Casablanca to Asilah
You'll land at Casablanca airport and get transferred to Asilah, a walled coastal town known for its white buildings and street art. Walk through the medina to check out colorful murals and artist workshops, then grab some fresh seafood at the local market stalls. By evening, head up to the ramparts where you can watch the sunset over the Atlantic.

Asilah to Chefchaouen
From Asilah, travel toward Chefchaouen with a stop at the Caves of Hercules near Tangier along the way. The drive takes you inland through the Rif Mountains, gradually getting more mountainous as you approach the blue city. Once there, wander the Old Medina's narrow alleyways, see the 17th-century kasbah, and look for the decorative minaret of the Tarik-Ben-Ziad Mosque.

Chefchaouen to Fes
Head to Fes for a guided walk through one of the world's largest old medinas. Start at the Royal Palace and then move through the Jewish Quarter, climbing up to the Borj towers for views across the entire old city. You'll watch a traditional pottery demonstration at a local mosaic house, then spend time walking through different sections of the medina where artisans work with leather, metal, and textiles. The tour includes visits to the tomb of Idriss II and the historic Al-Qarawaiyin University.

Fes to Erg Chebbi
Leave Fes heading toward the desert, passing through Africa's largest cedar forest where Barbary apes sometimes appear among the trees. Cross through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Midelt for lunch. After that, continue southeast through high mountain terrain following the Ziz River Gorge until reaching Erg Chebbi's sand dunes. You'll ride by camel (or take a 4x4 if preferred) to your camp, climb a dune to watch the sunset and stars, and have dinner with live traditional music.

Erg Chebbi to Dades Valley
Rise early to see the dunes at sunrise before heading back by camel. From there, travel to Dades Gorge with stops at an old irrigation system in the Saghro Mountains and a guided walk through Tinghir's palm groves and historic Jewish quarter. Later you'll walk through the dramatic Todra Gorge with its tall canyon walls before arriving in Dades Valley.

Dades Valley to Marrakech
Travel west along the Road of 1000 Kasbahs toward Marrakech, passing through Ouarzazate (sometimes called the Hollywood of Morocco). Then reach Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage ksar with ancient clay buildings clustered together on a hillside. Spend time exploring the structure, then drive up through the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass which sits at nearly 7,500 feet. You'll stop for photos of the mountain landscape before descending into Marrakech's warm oasis setting.

Marrakech
After breakfast, your private guide leads you through Marrakech's UNESCO medina for the full day. The souks offer djellabas, babouches, pierced lanterns, and spice stalls where you can shop. You'll see the Koutoubia Mosque, tour the Bahia and El Badii Palaces, and visit the Saadian Tombs. After picking up souvenirs, head to the airport for your flight home.
