Cagliari
You'll arrive in Cagliari and get settled at your hotel. After checking in, the rest of your day is open to explore Sardinia's capital on your own terms. Walk around the neighborhoods, grab a bite somewhere, or just get oriented and rest up for the days ahead.

Cagliari
After breakfast, you'll join a 3-hour guided walking tour through three historic neighborhoods: Castello, Stampace, and Marina. You'll see medieval towers, the cathedral, and the 1896 Bastion of Saint-Remy with views over the city. The afternoon is yours to spend time at Poetto Beach or check out the Roman Amphitheatre if you prefer something else.

Cagliari to Alghero
You'll travel north through Sardinia with several stops along the way. Start in Oristano to see the cathedral and town square, then head to Tharros, an old Roman and Byzantine commercial site. You'll have lunch in Bosa and see the medieval Castle of Serravalle, then stop in Tinnura to view its distinctive murals before reaching Alghero by evening.

Alghero
Your morning includes a guided walk through Alghero's historic center, wandering past medieval palaces, churches, and the coastal walls. Lunch is included at a scenic estate, then you'll visit the Nuragic Complex of Palmavera with its ancient village huts. Later, you'll hike in the Capo Caccia Natural Reserve to see the lighthouse and take in the coastline.

Alghero to Olbia
You'll head east across Sardinia to Castelsardo, a hilltop town overlooking the Costa Paradiso with wild beaches below. There's a stop in Tempio Pausania for a traditional Sardinian lunch and a look at its baroque churches, then you'll continue to Olbia, a busy port city that serves as the gateway to the Costa Smeralda.
