Itinerary
- Day 1
Rome
You'll make your own way to the hotel and settle in. After that, hop on the Rome Hop on, Hop off bus to explore the city at your own pace. The open-top bus takes you past iconic monuments with audio commentary, and you can get off at any of the eight stops whenever something catches your interest.

- Day 2
Assisi - Siena - Florence
Early start at 7:15 as you head out of Rome toward Assisi, a medieval walled town where you can independently visit the Basilica of St Francis if you want. From there, continue to Siena, a UNESCO-protected town with narrow streets and medieval brick buildings centered around the fan-shaped Piazza del Campo. Later you'll drive to Florence for the evening.

Florence
This morning join a half-day sightseeing tour of Florence. You'll see the Duomo (Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore), Palazzo Vecchio, and the Basilica of Santa Croce where Michelangelo, Galileo, and Machiavelli are buried. Grab lunch at a typical Tuscan restaurant in Piazza Santa Croce, then spend the afternoon exploring Florence on your own or book an optional excursion to nearby Pisa.

Bologna - Venice (Mestre)
Drive from Florence to Bologna and walk through the charming city center, admiring the porticos and visiting Piazza Malpighi, Piazza del Nettuno, Piazza Maggiore, and the Basilica of San Petronio. Check out the street food scene and vibrant markets, then have a light local lunch with regional specialties. After that, continue to Venice (Mestre) where you'll check in for the next two nights.

Then you have free time to wander further, and a gondola ride on Venice's famous canals is something worth considering.

Also see St Peter's Basilica from outside, one of the largest Christian churches and a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you like in Rome.

On a guided tour, you'll see surviving artifacts, mosaics, and buildings preserved when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD, burying the city under ash and pumice. Later, drive along the Sorrentine coast to Sorrento. Dinner is formal this evening.
