I am extremely satisfied with the tour. All three guides were very serious and responsible. I spent the most time with Peter, who was especially kind, enthusiastic, and thoughtful. The itinerary was well-designed, and I felt that we visited all the classic attractions—the scenery was incredibly beautiful, and I was super satisfied. Moreover, the schedule was not too tiring; it was relatively relaxed and easy to follow. The arranged hotel was excellent, with great service and an ideal location. The surroundings were quiet, yet it was not far from the bustling streets. Overall, I was very pleased with the entire experience

I would like to inquire, about places to stay. Online does not give me an option for us 3 to stay in one room. my kid is only 6 years old and we need 2 beds in a room

    Accommodation
    • Railtours Ireland First ClassOperatorWritten July 2025

When you book an extended tour, we do offer room types suitable for three guests, including families with a child. In your case (2 adults and 1 child), the best option would be a Triple Room, which typically includes either one double bed and one single bed or three single beds, depending on availability. If you're not seeing this option online, it's possible that the system isn't recognizing the configuration with one child. We recommend selecting "3 adults" during booking to ensure a triple room is offered, and then note in the comments that one of the guest is a child (age 6). This helps us assign the most suitable room for your family.
