My driver met me at the hotel and took me to the airport, a driver was waiting for me in Uyuni, and the tour was waiting for me to get started. The tour covered everything in the itinerary and we had perfect conditions for the Salt Flats. We stayed in hostels and the one was as bare minimum as you could get. No electricity, no running water, no wifi but they did have a lovely hot spring to soak in. Nothing wrong with going off the grid although the workers at that hostel were horrible and angry and very negative towards us (it was very odd).Show moreTrip date: February 2025

You could tell he had a lot of experience and loved his job! At times it was rough going, long drives to reach the sites, but incredible and worthwhile. They were striking and we took some incredible photos. Then we continued to the desert to see rock formations, flamingos, colored lakes and more. It was a rustic but unique trip. The route was long and dusty but beautiful with spectacular scenery. We had time to take photos and our guide was well informed.
