Your driver and guide will be waiting for you when you land at Entebbe International Airport. From there, it's a straightforward transfer to your accommodation where you'll settle in for the night.

Jinja
After breakfast, you'll head to Jinja for white water rafting. The route covers about 31 km, and you get a barbecue lunch with drinks included in the package. You can pick between a full-day or half-day option depending on how much time you want to spend on the water.

Kampala/Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park
This is an 8-hour drive west toward Queen Elizabeth National Park, traveling through Fort Portal. You'll stop there for lunch and continue through the Ugandan countryside with views of the Rwenzori mountain ranges. By evening, you'll check into the lodge and take a short game drive to see elephants, hippos, and buffalo.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start early with a wildlife safari through the park's grassy plains, tropical forests, rivers, and volcanic craters. You'll look for lions, leopards, elephants, and buffalo with the Rwenzori Mountains as your backdrop. After lunch, a 2-3 hour boat cruise along Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward lets you see hippos and various birdlife.

Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
The 6-hour drive from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi takes you through the Kigezi Highlands, sometimes called the Switzerland of Africa. You'll pass through terraced hills and winding roads, with a lunch break in Kabale before reaching the Bwindi forest.

Landmarks/POIs Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Kigezi Highlands Kabale - Day 6
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today you trek for mountain gorillas. Small groups of no more than 8 head into the forest, and your guide will help you spot signs like dung, nests, and chewed bamboo. The trek takes you along forested slopes through vines and bamboo. You get a maximum of 1 hour observing the gorillas before heading back.

Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi to Musanze
You'll spend the day at Lake Bunyonyi surrounded by terraced hills. There's swimming (the lake is free of bilharzia), dug-out canoeing, and sunbathing. You can also visit the Batwa community on one of the islands. Early evening, you'll cross into Rwanda and head to Musanze.

Landmarks/POIs Lake Bunyonyi - Day 8
Musanze (Rwanda)
After breakfast, rangers at park headquarters will brief you before gorilla trekking. Again, small groups of 8 search the forest for mountain gorillas, with your guide pointing out signs of their presence. You'll spend up to 1 hour observing them. If time allows after trekking, lunch happens before exploring Lake Bulera and Lake Ruhondo.

Musanze to Kigali
Following breakfast, you'll drive to Kigali for a city tour covering Rwanda's history, culture, and people. The Kigali Genocide Memorial provides important perspective on the 1994 genocide and Rwanda's recovery. After the city tour wraps up, you'll transfer to the airport for your flight home.
