- Day 1
Entebbe/Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
Your safari kicks off with a pickup at 8:00am from Entebbe or downtown Kampala. The drive takes you to Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you'll trek on foot to see white rhinos in their natural setting. By evening you'll be settled at your lodge, getting ready for the wildlife adventures ahead.

Murchison Falls National Park
This morning brings a full game drive through the park where you'll look for elephants, lions, giraffes, and other wildlife roaming the savannah. After lunch you'll switch gears for a boat trip down the River Nile, scanning for crocodiles, hippos, and rare birds along the way. You'll also see where the Nile flows into Lake Albert before heading back to the lodge for dinner.

Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale National Park
Right after breakfast you're heading to the Top of Murchison Falls to see the falls themselves. From there it's a long 6-hour drive west through Uganda's cities like Hoima, Kyenjojo, and Fort Portal on your way to Kibale National Park. Lunch gets included during the journey, and if timing works out, you can stop at Bigodi Conservation Project to learn how they make coffee locally.

Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning finds you in Kibale forest for chimpanzee trekking, where you might also cross paths with colobus monkeys, olive baboons, and red-tailed monkeys swinging through the canopy. The afternoon takes you to Bigodi swamp for birding and a look at their conservation efforts. Later that day you'll transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for the night.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast you're out on the Kasenyi plains for a morning game drive searching for lions, buffalo, elephants, Uganda kobs, topi, and bushbucks across the landscape. Once lunch is done, you'll board a boat on the Kazinga channel where crocodiles, buffalo, elephants, and birds can be spotted from the water.

Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi National Park
The morning offers chances for additional game drives in the park. There's also an option to book lion tracking for extra cost if you want that experience. Later you'll drive to Bwindi National Park and arrive in time for dinner at your lodge.

Bwindi National Park
After breakfast you'll head to the Bwindi gate for a pre-trek briefing where your guide explains what the gorilla trek involves and puts you with your trekking group. The actual trek length varies depending on where the gorillas are located that day. By evening you're back at the lodge having dinner after your trek.

Bwindi National Park to Lake Bunyonyi via Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Your day is spent trekking golden monkeys in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, walking through bamboo forests and past giant lobelia plants with your national park guide sharing details about the area's history and wildlife. This trek typically takes about 5 hours total. After you're done, you'll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for the night.

Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo National Park
You'll travel from Lake Bunyonyi down to Lake Mburo National Park. Once you arrive, pick what appeals to you for the afternoon or evening, either a boat trip on the lake or a game drive to spot wildlife.

Lake Mburo National Park to Entebbe International Airport
An early breakfast gets you ready for one last game drive at Lake Mburo to catch any wildlife you might have missed. Then it's the drive back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure. If you want, there's time to stop at the Equator crossing for coffee and to buy some local handicrafts.
