Itinerary
- Day 1
Zagreb
You'll get picked up at Zagreb airport and head to your hotel to settle in. Around 4:00 PM, a local guide takes you around Croatia's capital to see the upper city, the two hills that define the skyline, and the newer neighborhoods. After that, you'll have dinner and spend the night at your hotel.

Zagreb to Sarajevo
After breakfast, you're heading from Zagreb into Bosnia and Herzegovina. You'll stop first in Banja Luka where you can wander around the fortress and Orthodox cathedral on your own. Then it's on to Jajce, a really nice town where you'll walk through the streets and grab lunch. By mid-afternoon you'll reach Sarajevo for a guided tour showing the Turkish influence, with stops at mosques, madrasahs, and the bazaars. Evening dinner and overnight in Sarajevo.

Sarajevo to Dubrovnik
You'll start with breakfast and then head to the Tunnel of Hope, the historic passageway that kept Sarajevo going during the Serbian siege. From there, you travel through deep valleys to reach Mostar to see the historic center and that famous stone bridge. After lunch, you'll continue to Medjugorje, which is an important Catholic pilgrimage site for many visitors. Late afternoon gets you to Dubrovnik for dinner and your overnight stay.

Dubrovnik
After breakfast, a guide takes you around Dubrovnik, the walled city sitting right on the Adriatic. You'll see the Franciscan Monastery which has Europe's oldest pharmacy, and you'll also visit Dubrovnik Cathedral. Then you take a boat out to Lokrum island to check out the XI century Benedictine monastery ruins and some Game of Thrones filming spots. The afternoon is yours to explore on your own before heading back to the hotel for dinner and the night.

Dubrovnik to Split
This morning after breakfast you're traveling along the Croatian coast with views of islands out on the water. By noon you'll arrive in Split and have time for lunch on your own. A local guide then walks you through the city, focusing on Diocletian's Palace built in the 3rd-4th centuries AD. You'll see the historic center streets and the Riva waterfront, which is ideal for catching the sunset. Dinner and overnight back at your hotel.

Split to Opatija
After breakfast you'll leave Split and head inland through hilly landscapes to reach Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You can explore the lakes and waterfalls either by walking the trails or taking boat rides. There's free time during lunch, then you travel north along the coast to Opatija, known as the 'beauty of the Adriatic.' You'll see the unique vegetation and parks that have been developed over centuries. Transfer to your hotel for dinner.

Opatija to Ljubljana
After breakfast, you're continuing toward Slovenia. Your first stop is Postojna where you'll take a little train to partially explore one of the world's most important caves. Next is Bled, a nice town beside a lake where you'll take a boat to the island with its monastery bell tower and medieval castle in the background. Then you head to Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital, for a guided city tour. It's got a medieval fortress and people call it the 'New Prague.' You'll have accommodation and dinner in Ljubljana.

Ljubljana to Zagreb
After breakfast you're moving across Slovenia to Maribor, the country's second largest city, surrounded by vineyards and green valleys. The city is known for its history, culture, heritage, and wine production, including the oldest winery in the world. Later you'll cross the border back to Zagreb, Croatia's capital, and the rest of the day is free to explore on your own.
