  1. Day 1

    Zagreb

    You'll arrive at Zagreb airport and head to your hotel to drop off your bags. Around 4:00 PM, a local guide takes you on a panoramic tour of the capital, showing you the two hills, the upper city, and the newer neighborhoods that make up Zagreb.

  2. Day 2

    Zagreb to Sarajevo

    After breakfast, you'll travel into Bosnia-Herzegovina. The drive takes you through Banja Luka where you'll have free time to walk around this Republika Srpska capital on your own. Then you continue to Jajce to see the fortress, mosque, and a waterfall before heading to Sarajevo. By mid-afternoon you're on another guided tour focusing on the Turkish influences throughout the city, with stops at mosques, madrasahs, and the old bazaars.

    Sarajevo to Dubrovnik

    Starting out after breakfast, you visit the Tunnel of Hope, which played a crucial role keeping Sarajevo supplied during the siege. From there, you drive through deep valleys toward Mostar to see the historic center and the famous stone bridge that separates Orthodox, Muslim, and Catholic communities. You'll also stop in Medjugorje, which has been an unofficial Catholic pilgrimage site since 1981, and then continue on to Dubrovnik, arriving by evening.

    After breakfast, your local guide takes you through Dubrovnik on a panoramic tour covering the main sites. You'll visit the Franciscan Monastery, which houses Europe's oldest pharmacy, and the Dubrovnik Cathedral. A boat takes you out to Lokrum island where you can explore 11th-century Benedictine monastery ruins and spot a Game of Thrones filming location. The afternoon is yours to wander through the old town at your own pace.

  5. Day 5

    Dubrovnik to Split

    You'll head north along the Croatian coast with views of islands and dramatic landscapes passing by. Arriving in Split around noon leaves you time to grab lunch somewhere near the waterfront. In the afternoon, a local guide shows you around the city, including Diocletian's Palace from the 3rd to 4th centuries. You'll walk through the center's winding streets and alleys, then stroll along the Riva waterfront to catch the sunset.

  6. Day 6

    Split to Opatija

    Leaving Split after breakfast, you travel inland through rolling hills to reach Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO site. You'll explore the lakes and waterfalls, choosing to either walk trails or take boats across the water. After a lunch break, the route heads back toward the coast to Opatija, known as the Queen of Tourism for its Mediterranean vegetation and historic gardens.

Later you reach Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital, for a guided tour highlighting the medieval fortress, the Prague-like atmosphere, and the impressive castle heritage.
