Lake Nakuru National Park
You'll get picked up early and head south through the Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru National Park, crossing the equator along the way. The drive takes you through dramatic scenery before you arrive in time for lunch. That afternoon you'll do a game drive to see the flamingos that line the alkaline lake and the rhinos the park protects. You'll stay at City Max Hotel for the night.

Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast you're heading to Masai Mara National Reserve, which sits at the northern edge of the Serengeti ecosystem. The landscape here is all rolling golden plains with acacia trees scattered throughout, and this is where the Great Migration happens if you're there at the right time. You'll arrive for lunch, spend the afternoon on a game drive looking for wildlife, and check into Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve
You've got two full days to explore Masai Mara at your own pace. Each morning starts with a sunrise game drive across the plains when animals are most active. You'll look for the Big Five and hundreds of bird species throughout the day. Picnic lunches happen out in the bush, and you'll return to Miti Mingi Eco Camp each evening, falling asleep to the sounds of the African wilderness around you.

Masai Mara to Serengeti
Today you're crossing the border from Kenya into Tanzania at Isebania, combining two safari experiences in one day. Morning game drives happen in the Mara, then after crossing over you'll do afternoon drives in the Serengeti as the landscape shifts from rolling hills to endless plains. By evening you'll reach Lobo Campsite where the sky fills with stars and the horizon stretches infinitely in every direction.

Serengeti National Park
You're now in the Serengeti, which means 'endless plains' in the local language, and that name really fits what you'll see. Over two million large animals live here including wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, and all the big predators. On your second day you can either visit Olduvai Gorge or take a hot air balloon flight to see the landscape from above. Nights at Tumbili Campsite come with the sound of distant lion roars overhead.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
You're up at dawn for a game drive when the light is golden and animals are most active. After brunch you'll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to see the massive crater with its 102-square-mile span. The crater floor holds almost every species you'd see in East Africa, including rare black rhinos. You'll spend the night at Simba Campsite right on the crater rim, taking in the views.

Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara
Early morning you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor. The landscape changes as you move through grasslands, forests, and lakes, each area packed with different animals. You'll have a picnic lunch watching hippos wallow in the pool before heading back up the crater rim. Later you'll travel to Manyara for a quieter setting, staying at Ngedere Lodge & Camp.

Landmarks Ngorongoro Crater Lake Manyara - Day 10
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Your final day takes you to Lake Manyara National Park where you'll see tree-climbing lions and pink flamingos along the shoreline. The park's forests are home to baboons and blue monkeys, while the plains have buffalo, giraffes, and elephants. You'll drive along the lakeshore watching wildlife in the foreground and flamingos at the water's edge. After the game drive you'll head back to Arusha, ending your safari.
