- Day 1
Clare Valley to Mount Remarkable National Park
You'll head north through Clare Valley and coastal plains, reaching Wallaroo on the Yorke Peninsula. From there, it's on to Port Germein where you can walk the historic 1,532-metre jetty stretching into the ocean. Later you'll arrive at Mount Remarkable National Park and set up camp at Mambray Creek. After settling in, take a bushwalk through red gums and sandstone ridges. By evening, you'll share dinner with the group under the stars.

Mount Remarkable National Park to Coodlie Park Farm Retreat
After breakfast in native bushland, you'll tackle the Davey's Gully Hike, a gentle 2.4km loop with views over Spencer Gulf. Next, head to Kimba to photograph the iconic silo mural and check out Workshop26, an arts collective housed in a converted tractor shed. Lunch supports local healthcare through the Royal Flying Doctor Service. In the afternoon, you'll try sand-surfing at The Tub and visit Woolshed Cave. By evening, you'll arrive at Coodlie Park Farm Retreat for dinner and an optional stargazing experience under zero light pollution.

Eyre Peninsula to Penong
The day starts with an optional wildlife encounter at Baird Bay - you can swim with Australian sea lions and wild bottlenose dolphins in sheltered waters (operated by Eco-Accredited Baird Bay Ocean Eco Tours). If that's not your preference, take a coastal drive to Point Labatt to spot endangered Australian sea lions instead. Later, try a learn-to-surf session at Streaky Bay or simply relax and swim at your own pace. By evening, you'll reach Penong, a quirky outback town famous for its forest of windmills.

Penong to Nullarbor Plain Bush Camp
Today begins the epic crossing of the Nullarbor Plain, a vast treeless wilderness. You'll stop at the famous wildlife crossing sign, then reach the Bunda Cliffs where the Great Australian Bight stretches to the horizon - ancient sea cliffs rising up to 120 metres across over 200 kilometres of uninterrupted coastline. After grabbing lunch at the quirky Nullarbor Roadhouse, you'll cross into Western Australia, gaining 1.5 hours. Later, you'll bush camp under one of the darkest skies in the world with no facilities or light pollution.

Nullarbor Plain to Cape Le Grand National Park
You'll travel the 90 Mile Straight, Australia's longest flattest road, stopping at quirky Balladonia famous for 1979 NASA Skylab debris. Your guide shares regional history and curiosities along the way. After a leg stretch and lunch break in Norseman, the scenery shifts from red earth to white sand and brilliant blue water. By late afternoon, you'll enter the Esperance region and Cape Le Grand National Park, which becomes your base for the next two nights with perfect beaches, rugged granite peaks, and kangaroos on the sand.

Cape Le Grand National Park
You'll spend the day exploring Cape Le Grand National Park with crystal-clear water, white sand, dramatic granite headlands, and kangaroos lounging on the beach. Hike to the iconic Frenchman Peak for panoramic views across Cape Le Grand and the Recherche Archipelago islands. Explore at your own pace - swim in turquoise bays, wander bush trails, and soak in the serenity where the outback meets the ocean.

Cape Le Grand National Park to Stirling Ranges
After packing up camp, head to Esperance for a coffee stop, then visit Twilight Cove for a final swim in turquoise waters and white sands. You'll journey through diverse landscapes, stopping in Ravensthorpe to refuel and eat where local silo art appears throughout town. By late afternoon, you'll arrive in the Stirling Ranges where jagged peaks rise from ancient bushland. Your base for the night is Mt Trio, a peaceful private campground surrounded by nature.

Stirling Ranges to Walpole Wilderness Region
After breakfast, head to the Porongurups where ancient granite peaks rise from the earth. You'll hike through towering Karri and Marri trees to Castle Rock and the Granite Skywalk, a suspended lookout. Continue along the South West Coast to Albany to see The Gap and Natural Bridge where raw cliffs meet ocean energy. Visit Elephant Rocks in a calm bay between giant boulders and Greens Pool for crystal-clear swimming. Later, enter the ancient misty Walpole Wilderness Region to meet the legendary Giant Tingle Tree, a hollowed-out giant standing for hundreds of years.

Walpole Wilderness Region to Margaret River
Begin with meaningful conservation volunteer work at Capes Raptor Centre, one of Australia's largest bird of prey sanctuaries. You'll help the team rescue, care for, and rehabilitate injured, orphaned, and displaced eagles, hawks, falcons, and owls. Then head to Margaret River township to explore quirky boutiques, art galleries, and grab lunch from local cafes. In the afternoon, visit handpicked local producers featuring wine, gin, chocolate, and cheese. Finish at Fair Harvest, a working permaculture farm, touring the veggie gardens, seeing composting systems, and meeting farm animals.

Roll up your swag for the final time and experience a 2.5-hour cultural journey with Wadandi custodian Josh 'Koomal' Whiteland. Bushwalk through Country learning stories of culture, connection, and the six Noongar seasons while identifying bush foods, native medicines, and ancient fire-lighting techniques. Descend into Ngilgi Cave where Josh's didgeridoo echoes through the space. Visit Busselton's Origin Markets for WA-made goods from food and art to handmade keepsakes. Walk the iconic Busselton Jetty stretching 1.8km into turquoise Geographe Bay. Cruise into Perth by around 6pm with hearts full and plenty of stories to take home.
