Check out the boutiques along Laugavegur, and if you're interested in architecture, Hallgrímskirkja church is hard to miss with its distinctive design. The Reykjavík Art Museum is also nearby if that appeals to you. Later in the day, make your way to the harbor to board MS Fram and get settled in.

You'll navigate through towering mountains and past blue icebergs in incredibly clear water while looking for whales and Greenlandic gyrfalcons. Weather and ice conditions will determine what's possible, but you can expect shore landings, nature walks, kayaking trips, and wildlife viewing. You'll visit Ittoqqortoormiit, one of the most remote places people actually live in the Western Hemisphere, and explore along the eastern ice edge of the Greenland Sea.
