- Carolyn· June 6th, 2025We loved our tour of Egypt and our guide Mina but we are still waiting on a refund for the hot air balloon ride that was cancelled due to weather. We also enjoyed Jordan but we're quite unhappy with our guide, there was actually 5 men accompanying our group, the guide, the driver, a photographer someone from head office and a random young man who was never introduced to the group and just seemed to be along for the ride, it often felt like more of a boys trip that the group was tagging along with. One day we stopped at a petrol station around 11am to refuel, all the boys got out and had a meal and coffee, we stayed in the van not knowing what was happening, didn't get lunch until 3.00. communication from the guide was zero in our what's app group and minimal while travelling.Show moreTrip date: April 2025
- LKLarissa· May 25th, 2025Our tour guides were very knowledgeable. George highlighted many interesting items at each stop of our tour in Egypt. Sam’s knowledge of the holy land in Jordan was very in depth. Both guides were friendly, knowledgeable and had good sense of humour. They addressed any issues (such as medical needs) quickly and with compassion. The itinerary for both countries was extensive. The optional excursions in Egypt were so worth the money. We added an additional day at the beginning of the tour (optional) thinking that we would relax by the pool waiting for the rest of the tour participants to arrive. However. Timeless Tours offered a trip to Memphis to see the Red and Bent pyramids. We also opted into the hot air balloon ride and Abu Simbel. Both were definitely worth the money. George also arranged for us to go scuba diving and snorkeling on the Red Sea during our stay in Hurgada. All of the experiences were excellent. We also opted for the middle of the road option (sleeper train) to go from Cairo to Aswan instead of the flight or the bus ride. Now, this is not a luxurious train ride by any means, but you do get a sense of what it is like to be Egyptian. The time is Jordan is quick but we got saw so many important sites. The Wadi Rum experience is awesome. Overall, we highly suggest this combo tour of Egypt and Jordan.Show moreTrip date: May 2025

- JMJulie· April 4th, 2025The Egypt part of the tour was excellent. Our guide Mina Malik was extremely knowledgeable and very available for our needs. He definitely deserves 5 stars. The overall program went as advertised, accommodations and food were good. We found the vehicle travel was a little cramped and lengthy. The Jordan part was good especially the accommodations in Petra and the fancy camping in the desert. We found our tour guide Malik _____. a little hard to understand and he also kept us moving faster than was comfortable.Show moreTrip date: March 2025
- VOVivian· March 21st, 2025Wonderful trip to Egypt and Jordan. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and organized. We felt safe the entire time. Lots of ancient history, culture and amazing structures. We stayed in very nice hotels. Most meals were included. Bring enough cash to pay entrance fees in Egypt as well as tips, and optional excursions in Egypt and Jordan. Jordan Pass is a must. Our guide was Ramez in Egypt and Gabriel in Jordan. They were both outstanding guides. I highly recommend Timeless Tours.Show moreTimeless Tours commented on this reviewThank you for your wonderful feedback! - Mansi· February 25th, 2025✅ Cruise Experience – Well-organised, great service, and perfectly executed. ✅ Hot Air Balloon (Optional activity) – Highlight of the trip, perfectly scheduled with Valley of the Kings. ✅ Well-Paced Jordan Tour – Excellent planning, premium hotels, and smooth execution. ✅ Great Tour Guide (Ramez) – Knowledgeable, passionate, and made the experience engaging. ✅ Some Thoughtful Touches – Kickoff meeting, Khan El Khalili visit, free day before Jordan, and well-chosen Petra & Wadi Rum experiences. ❌ Alexandria Tour (Optional activity) – Poor guiding, lack of information/context, no meeting points, and overpriced/poor lunch. ❌ Hidden Charges – Compulsory tipping, entrance fees, and surprise meal costs were not transparent. ❌ Forced Tourist Traps – Unscheduled stops at overpriced workshops made you feel like a cash cow. ❌ Hurghada Stay – Noise disruptions, misleading itinerary, and an unnecessary 3:30 AM departure. ❌ Limited Meal Flexibility at our expense – Pre-chosen restaurants, high costs, and lack of options despite not being hungry.Show moreTimeless Tours commented on this reviewDear Mansi, Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us. Nina
Asked on April 14th, 20251. Longest drive in a day? How many hours you drive everyday? 2. Is it possible to share a room? 3. How much are the entrance fees? How much does she need for that? 4. If she arrives a day earlier can she do a day tour as well? 5. Will she also be picked up at the airport if she arrives a day earlier? 6. How much is 1 PRE night? 7. At what does the trip start on the 2nd day? 8. Does she need a visa for Jordan?
- Timeless Tours Operator•Written April 2025
The longest drive in a day is the journey from Cairo to Aswan, that takes about 14 hours. However, there is an optional flight upgrade instead of that long overnight bus ride. Everyday we drive about 1-2 hours, except when we travel between cities; that would get to about 4-6 hours. I'm afraid single room supplement is mandatory for solo travelers. The entrance fees for Egypt and Jordan is about $200. If you arrive a day earlier, we still can book the extra night for you, arrange for your airport pick up and you may do an optional tour on the free day. Yes. We will arrange for your airport pick up if you arrive a day early. A pre-tour night costs GBP £93 in a single room. The pyramids tour starts at about 8 am on day 2. Yes. You need a visa for Jordan. You could purchase the "Wanderer" Jordan pass that covers the entrance fees and provides a free entry visa to Jordan.

Asked on March 3rd, 2025I wanted to check that I would definitely be part of a group? And if so, might there be another solo traveller in the same position as me who might like to share a room? I also wanted to check that the majority of the sites and activities are included? I saw that Abu simbel wasn't for example, but the others are? And with things like the extra entrance for Abu simple and the hot air balloon ride, do they have to be booked/paid for in advance, or can I decide while I am out there?
- Timeless Tours Operator•Written March 2025
The tour includes guided visits to all the sites stated in the tour itinerary. But, please note that the entry tickets to all the sites aren't included in the tour price. Abu Simbel tour is an optional excursion available on day 4 of the tour. All the optional excursions don't need to be booked in advance. You could book any of these optional excursions while on the tour.

Traveler•Written March 2025Does the same apply there? And to the other tours around that time? In terms of it being guaranteed, and would I definitely be part of a group rather than on my own?
- Timeless Tours Operator•Written March 2025
All our departure dates are guaranteed departure and you would definitely be part of a group tour.

Asked on February 17th, 2025We are wondering what the extra cost would be to get the overnight sleeper on the train on day 2 from Cairo to Aswan instead of going on the A/C bus.

The extra cost for the sleeper train upgrade is AUD $185 per person including the sleeper train ticket and the transfers to Cairo station and from Aswan station.
