Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
You'll land at Cairo International Airport where someone from the tour company meets you with information about the city. After getting your welcome, you're transferred to your hotel to rest up for the night. If you want an earlier transfer, that's available but costs extra.

- Day 2
Cairo
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll meet your Egyptologist guide for a full day around Cairo. The morning takes you to the three great pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, then you'll grab lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you head to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities to see the collection of ancient artifacts.

Cairo to Luxor
Transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Luxor, where you board your river cruise. Once on the ship, you start exploring Karnak's Great Hypostyle Hall with its intricate columns and granite statues of Ramses II. Later you see the obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tuthmosis III, then visit the open-air temple complex of Amun. By evening, you check out the illuminated Luxor temple with its impressive columns and statues.

Luxor
This morning you explore the Valley of the Kings with its 64 tombs ranging from simple pits to complex structures with over 120 chambers. You then visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, and see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. After the day of exploration, you sail to Edfu and have a leisurely dinner on board.

Edfu to Aswan
You experience Egyptian culture with a horse and carriage ride to Edfu Temple, dedicated to the god Horus. Back on the cruise, you continue sailing toward Kom Ombo while enjoying Egyptian tea on the sun deck. At sunset, you visit Kom Ombo temple before the ship sails on to Aswan, a city known for its Nubian culture.

Aswan
An optional early morning tour takes you to the Great Temples of Abu Simbel, featuring the sanctuaries of Ramses II and his queen Nefertari (these temples were relocated in 1968 to avoid being submerged by Lake Nasser). You return to the ship for an optional afternoon visit to a Nubian village, then rejoin the cruise before dinner.

Aswan to Cairo
Meet your Egyptologist guide for a final tour of Aswan's highlights, including the High Dam. After that, you take a motorboat to Philae Island Temple. Following the tour, you're transferred to Aswan Airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo, arriving at your hotel in the evening.
