- Dennis· August 11th, 2023This two-week Mount Everest Bascamp, roundtrip from a Lukla Airport, over its 100+ miles long and there mile elevation, gave me a great sense of accomplishment. My personal guide Mann was very patient with this senior hikers slow pace. His assistance on the two days we were climbing in the rain and dark until 9:30 PM was a Godscend. He held on to me as we trod in the pouring rain over steep, rocky terrain lit by the flashlight on his cellphone. The guesthouses and meals in those facilities provided a comfortable, clean respite between the segments of the trek.Show moreAdventure Himalayan Travels commented on this reviewThank you very much for your valuable words Dennis.Trip date: July 2023
- Jose· October 4th, 2022Adventure Himalayan Travels manage to provide an excellent service at a competitive price. I was able to shorten my trip from 14 days to 13 and they were able to change the schedule, including flights, very quickly with no extra charge. Promptly feedbacks and adjustments to suit one's needs. The Guides were informed and provided accurate information regarding cultural activities, geographical details and logistical information. I definitely recommend Adventure Himalayan Travels.Show moreAdventure Himalayan Travels commented on this reviewThank you very much for your valuable words Jose.Trip date: September 2022
- SNstephen· November 20th, 2019It was a fantastic experience. The Himalayas were majestic and awe inspiring. We were well looked after by our guide Bhakta who always did his best to ensure we enjoyed and completed the trek. There were times we found it difficult and could not have done it without Bhakta. Adventure Himalayan travels did a great job in organising the trek. Rana was always there to answer any queries or to fix any problems we had. I can thoroughly recommend this company and guide to anyone.Show moreAdventure Himalayan Travels commented on this reviewThank you very much for your valuable words Stephen.Trip date: November 2019
- Anonymous· February 8th, 2019Everest base camp was everything that I had hoped for. It was chilling and the adventure was awesome. The local people on the way to the trip were very friendly. The houses were small, mostly made of stones and woods. Really felt like I was in a different world. All thanks to Adventure Himalayan Travels and Treks for making this tour possible.Show moreAdventure Himalayan Travels commented on this reviewThank you for your words.Trip date: November 2018

- JJohndewe· July 1st, 2018"Thank you for a great trip! Challenging but doable, and so empowering! Everyday was a different landscape, deeply beautiful in its own way. The top was so alien, draw and dream like while durali ( hidden valleys) are so green and soothing. We loved our guide and porters. They took great care of us and very professional and attractive. We learn unforgettable Mountain song and singing " Risham firiri" and dancing with them. - Jen· June 30th, 2018I had a great time on this trek! My guide was very knowledgeable and attentive. My porter took good care of me. The experience, hospitality and cultural insight offered by this trek are beyond incredible and wonderfully inspiring. Like anything, the trek has its tough moments, mostly the day over the pass, but the excitement of reaching the top surpasses the demanding nature of the trekking at that point. I will never forget this experience and it will stay close to me forever. Thanks to Adventure Himalayan Travels and treks for organizing such a special trek for me. I will highly recommend booking with them.Show moreAdventure Himalayan Travels commented on this reviewThank you for your valuable wordsTrip date: January 2015

Traveler•Written February 2024I have read in a few reviews that the toilets in the tea houses did not flush and were filthy. I am therefore concerned about hygiene. I hope that the tour company informs the tea houses of this. I do understand that the facilities will not be grand but I do expect the proper hygiene and sanitary precautions be followed. Toilets need to be able to flush and must be clean. Please let me know so that my mind is put at ease before I book.
- Adventure Himalayan TravelsOperator•Written February 2024
Some of the lodges have a attached bathroom but some don't. As the elevation increases the tea houses or lodges don't have attached bathroom. The bathroom will be shared by the people in these places. Sometimes, due to the cold weather the water freezes in these areas and the toilets will not flush. I will tell the owners of the lodges to keep it clean and check if the water is working properly.

Asked on March 6th, 2022Can we rent sleeping bags and jackets? Do you recommend staying an extra day to see the city or for travel purposes? Just wanted to confirm: are meals included with the package or do we pay for them separately? Also wanted to confirm: is Kala Patthar included with this package or is that separate?
