Itinerary
- Day 1
Melbourne
You'll meet your group leader at 8 am for a welcome meeting, then head to Hanging Rock Reserve for the Pinnacle Walk up to the summit. If you're departing on a Sunday, there's time to check out the Daylesford Sunday Market before driving to Ballarat. The rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to do as you like.

Ballarat to Apollo Bay
After breakfast, you'll travel south to Apollo Bay along the scenic Great Ocean Road. You'll stop in Anglesea to join a guided walk through Otway National Park with Wildlife Wonders, where you'll learn about local wildlife and conservation. By evening you'll be settled into your accommodation.

- Day 3
Apollo Bay to Warrnambool
You'll drive from Apollo Bay to Warrnambool along the Great Ocean Road, stopping for scenic views along the way. The Twelve Apostles rock formations are the highlight, with time for lookouts and beach walks. Dinner with other travellers is available this evening if you want to join, but it's optional.

Warrnambool to Grampians National Park
You'll drive to Budj Bim for a cultural walking tour with a Gunditjmara guide who'll share the area's creation story and ancient aquaculture techniques. Lunch is a bush foods grazing board at Tae Rak Aquaculture Centre. After that you'll continue to Grampians National Park for the evening.

Grampians National Park
This day is all about exploring Grampians National Park. You'll walk various trails with waterfalls, sandstone ridges, and rock art sites. Your leader will pick the best routes based on weather and what your group can handle. There's an optional group dinner this evening.

Grampians to Adelaide
After a group breakfast, you'll drive to Stawell to visit Bunjil's Cave, an important First Nations rock art site. Your leader will say goodbye, and then you'll board The Overland train from Stawell to Adelaide, arriving around 4:30 pm. You'll have the evening free to explore Adelaide.

Adelaide to Kangaroo Island
Your new group leader will meet you at 9 am. You'll transfer to Cape Jervis (about 2 hours), then take the ferry to Kangaroo Island (about 45 minutes). After dropping off luggage, you'll walk the Kangaroo Island Sculpture Trail in the afternoon. Later you'll head to Penneshaw Penguin Centre for an evening walk to see little penguins.

- Day 8
Dudley Peninsula
You'll visit Dudley Peninsula to experience Aussie culture at a sheep farm and see Cape Willoughby Lighthouse. You'll stop at local producers including an eucalyptus oil refinery and honey farm. There's an optional climb of Prospect Hill, a visit to KI Community Gallery, and possibly some winery tasting. The day ends in Kingscote.

Emu Bay and Stokes Bay
You'll start at Salt Lagoon for photos, then head to Emu Bay Beach for swimming and relaxing. There's an optional stop at a lavender farm for scones before heading to the secluded Stokes Bay. You'll spend time at the beach and return to Kingscote for a relaxed evening.

Seal Bay and Flinders Chase
You'll visit Seal Bay for a ranger-led wildlife experience watching sea lions. Next you'll go to Little Sahara with optional sandboarding, then to Vivonne Bay. After that you'll explore Flinders Chase National Park to see Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, then return to Kingscote for the evening.

Kangaroo Island to Adelaide
You'll visit American River to tour the schooner Independence (built 1803) and learn its history. You'll walk through coastal scrub to see the remains of a 19th-century fish cannery while watching for glossy-black cockatoos. Then you'll drive back to Penneshaw for the ferry to Cape Jervis and a private transfer to Adelaide, arriving around 4:30 pm.
