- Ross· July 28th, 2025Efficient tour that hits all the major stops! The optional Banff gondola and Athabasca Glacier are both musts! Our guys, Alexis, was fun, friendly, and engaging! My only criticisms are I think we could've also made it to the nearby waterfalls of Athabasca Falls and Helmcken Falls. Awesome trip!Show moreTrip date: July 2025

- DNDeborah· July 3rd, 2025My son and I had a very enjoyable trip. We were lucky to have three guides—Chris, our main guide, was vibrant, knowledgeable, welcoming, and very accommodating. He was training Tabitha and Victoria, who I’m sure will become wonderful guides as well. The sights we visited were stunning, and the accommodation was great. I would have liked a little more time in Jasper, but otherwise, the schedule was well-paced and thoughtfully planned. Overall, it was excellent value for money, and I’ll definitely be looking into other tours for future trips to Canada. Tour radar was also very good.Show moreTrip date: June 2025

- EMEdmund· October 23rd, 2024Main reason for booking this tour - lots of stunning natural scenery in locations that aren't easily accessible by public transport. There's wall-to-wall picture postcard scenes. Areas for improvement: * The itinerary says "Free time to explore the quaint town of Revelstoke" which is misleading. The (unadvertised) scheduled arrival time in Revelstoke is 8pm. For the October departure this meant that the stop at the location of the Last Spike was after sunset, which made it difficult to see anything. It also means many of the restaurants in Revelstoke close just one hour after being dropped off at the hotel. * Itinerary mentioned 'option to go canoeing' but the guide didn't mention it on day 2. After walking down from the hike the guide recommended I noticed there was a canoe rental place, I don't know if that was supposed to be the option available? * The advertised included lunch on day 4 was switched for an included dinner in Banff on day 2. This meant for day 4 the lunch stop was at a shopping centre. There's plenty of eating options in Banff and we arrived in Banff earlier than in Revelstoke or Valemont, so it didn't seem the best night to arrange an included meal for us. * The stop in Jasper for dinner on day 3 was omitted due to the wild fire damage a few months back. Discover Canada still used the Comfort Inn in Valemount as the final night hotel. It's on a busy road on the edge of the town, so doesn't have many eating options nearby and the road layout doesn't make it particularly safe for walking into town in the dark. Given the brochure price was £632 and the single supplement averaged £82/night I would have expected Discover Canada to have gone to the effort of arranging an alternative option, rather than just missing out Jasper and leaving everything else the same. It's not like it's priced as a budget tour.Show moreDiscover Canada Tours commented on this reviewHello Edmund, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Asked on June 25th, 2025We can only start the tour on the 6th July. Is that a possibility?
- Discover Canada ToursOperator•Written June 2025
Unfortunately, this tour only departs on a Friday and we don't have this tour scheduled to leave on a different day of the week. We do have a 5-day Rockies Tour departing on the 7th of July.

Asked on June 2nd, 2025Do you think I can make it if I book this tour the day it finishes on the 28th? What time will be back in Vancouver?
- Discover Canada ToursOperator•Written June 2025
This tour is planning to be back in Vancouver at approx. 7:30 pm. From downtown Vancouver it takes around 45 minutes to get to the airport. If we make it back in time, you should be fine. However, we usually don't recommend booking a flight on the day that we return to Vancouver, due to unexpected circumstances, like traffic delays.

Asked on March 19th, 2025Could you kindly provide us with the name of the planned hotel for this adventure and the hotel category? Will the travelers stay in 1 hotel or will there be 3 different hotels? Will there be a continental breakfast or will the travellers have breakfast à la carte? We have noticed that 1 lunch is included in the package. Would it be possible to replace the lunch with 1 dinner in Banff on day 2?
- Discover Canada ToursOperator•Written March 2025
You will be staying at a different hotel each night on the tour. We are planning to stay at the following hotels during this tour: Revelstoke: Regent Inn or similar. Banff: Elk & Ave Hotel or similar. Valemount: Comfort Inn or similar. The breakfast will be continental, buffet style. If you have any dietary restrictions, please add this to your details so we can communicate this with the hotels. Unfortunately, the lunch is a group lunch and cannot be changed to a dinner.

Asked on February 27th, 2025Would I be able to visit all the places advertised, as this is the last trip of the year? Would the weather be problem? Do we get much free time to see Banff during daytime? I've read some reviews that stops happen at night and you don't get a chance to explore during daylight.
- Discover Canada ToursOperator•Written March 2025
For the Rockies Summer Classic tour, you will get the opportunity to stay one night in Banff. You will reach the town in the afternoon and get a driving tour around Banff Avenue. After that you can choose to participate in Banff Gondola or enjoy some free time for dinner, shopping and sightseeing. The next day in the morning after breakfast, you will travel to Icefields Parkway. Since this is a 4-day tour, the schedule is quite packed. If you are looking for a longer tour duration, I'd suggest the Rockies Summer Premium tour-- this is a 5 day & 4 night tour, including 2 nights in Banff, allowing guests to have more time to see what Banff has to offer.
