Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in La Paz
You'll touch down in La Paz at 3,600 meters above sea level, so take things slowly at first. Your tour guide meets you at the airport to walk through the itinerary and answer questions before heading to your hotel. This arrival day is mainly about settling in and adjusting to the altitude.

Landmarks La Paz - Day 2
La Paz City Tour and Tiwanaku
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head to the Tiwanaku Archaeological Temple to see this ancient pre-Inca site with its ceramic and lithic museums plus pyramid structures and the Puma Punku Complex. The afternoon takes you through La Paz proper, hitting the main square and cathedral along with various museums. Later you'll take a cable car up to the Witches Market before heading back to your hotel.

La Paz to Uyuni Salt Flat
Following an early breakfast, you'll transfer to the airport for a domestic flight down to Uyuni. From there, you'll explore Colchani village and watch the salt processing operations, check out the salt mounds and Salt Museum, then head to Incahuasi Island with its giant cacti. The day wraps up with watching the sunset over the salt flat from your salt hotel.

- Day 4
Desert Exploration and Lagoons
Grab breakfast at your hotel, then head out to the Train Cemetery to see the old steam locomotives. You'll visit San Cristobal village and get views of Ollague Volcano at 5,865 meters before traveling through several lagoons including Canapa, Hedionda, Honda, Charcota, and Ramaditas. The route continues through the Siloli desert, and you're back at your hotel by evening.

- Day 5
Geysers and Volcanic Lagoons
After breakfast, you'll set out early to see the Stone Tree rock formation, then make your way to the Red Lagoon to see its distinctive color created by algae and plankton. You'll experience the boiling Geysers with steam shooting up around 50 meters, take a refreshing dip at the Hot Springs of Polques, and visit the Green Lagoon with its emerald waters. Before returning to your salt hotel, you'll get a view of Licancabur Volcano.
