Anuj, our salesperson, handled everything efficiently and ensured we had a stress-free experience. The 4-star hotel was centrally located, with helpful staff and great food. Our driver, Hari, was always on time and had deep knowledge of Jaipur’s history and street food. He even suggested trying lassi from a small local shop — and it was delicious! We managed to cover all major attractions: Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, and even had time to visit a local elephant village. The trip started from Delhi, where we were picked up from Hotel Park Plaza, a comfortable and well-located 4-star hotel with great amenities and courteous staff. Our driver, Hari, was punctual, polite, and made the long road trip to Jaipur pleasant and relaxed. In Jaipur, we stayed at Lemon Tree Premier, which was elegant, clean, and offered a lovely rooftop dining experience with a view of the city skyline. Vikram, my driver, knew all the back routes and even got me into City Palace before the big crowds. Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar—all impressive! Shopping in Johari Bazaar was a bonus. Our driver was very friendly and took great care of us, even though the communication wasn’t that easy, because he didn’t speak english very well. We always felt safe when he was driving. Our Guide led us through the advertised locations and could give us interesting facts about them. We felt he did not quite understand our follow-up questions, though. We also were led to way too many locations and people that urged us to buy something, which made us feel uncomfortable as we were just three students with not a lot of money to spare and did not feel that looking at jewelry repeatedly was very interesting as part of the program. If one sets aside these selling parts, the tour wasn't that extensive. And, what we found shocking because we didn't read the description of the tour up into the last detail: the tour contains a ride on elephants. Please put that into the main description!! We think this is animal cruelty and would've never deliberately taken part in this activity.
