Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
You'll arrive in Cairo and meet your tour representative at the airport. They'll handle the visa and immigration paperwork, then drive you to your hotel for the night. It's a good chance to rest up before starting the tour.

Giza, Saqqara & Dahshur
Start the morning at the Giza Pyramid Complex to see the Great Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. After that, you'll drive south to Saqqara to check out the Step Pyramid of Djoser. Later, stop at Dahshur to visit the Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid before heading back to Cairo.

Egyptian Museum & Old Cairo
Spend your morning at the Egyptian Museum walking through over 100 exhibition halls with ancient artifacts and treasures. In the afternoon, head to Old Cairo where you'll see the Citadel of Salah El-Din, Mohammed Ali Mosque, and the Hanging Church. From there, browse through the Khan El Khalili Bazaar for shopping and local goods.

Cairo to Aswan
Fly to Aswan in the morning and explore the city. Visit Philae Temple on a small island to see the mythological reliefs carved into the walls. After that, check out the Unfinished Obelisk in the Granite Quarries. Later in the afternoon or evening, take a relaxing felucca sail on the Nile past Elephantine Island and the Botanical Gardens.

Abu Simbel Day Trip
Drive about three hours to Abu Simbel to explore the twin rock-carved temples, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll see the towering Colossi and intricate reliefs that show ancient Egyptian scenes and the victories of Ramesses II carved directly into the rock face.

Aswan to Luxor
Travel north along the Nile toward Luxor with stops along the way. First, visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which was dedicated to both Sobek and Horus. Continue south to Edfu and see the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Check into your Luxor hotel by evening.

Luxor West Bank
Spend the day on Luxor's West Bank, the ancient burial grounds for Egypt's royal families. Start at the Valley of the Kings to explore royal tombs, then visit the Valley of Nobles with colorful reliefs. Walk through the village of Deir el-Medina, tour Queen Hatshepsut's Mortuary Temple, and photograph the Colossi of Memnon.

This day is yours to spend as you like in Luxor. You can visit the Luxor Museum to see antiquities including items from Tutankhamun's tomb, walk along the Corniche by the river, or take a horse-carriage ride around town. In the evening, there's a sound and light show at Karnak Temple. Alternatively, take a full-day trip to Abydos and Dendera temples.
