Itinerary
- Day 1
Hotel to Cai Lay
Your hotel pickup happens at 8:00 AM, then you'll head out for a 2-hour transfer to Cai Lay. From there, you'll start cycling through back roads and fruit orchards, taking time to stop and try fresh durian along the way. The route takes you through small water crossings and past local operations making coconut candy and pop-rice. You'll meet locals during the ride and get a feel for the area. After covering about 30km on concrete and dirt paths, you'll stay overnight at a homestay.

- Day 2
Cai Lay
This morning starts with early Vietnamese coffee and breakfast so you can experience how locals begin their day. Then you'll cycle along rivers where you can watch fishing and fruit picking happening. On the road you'll spot Vietnamese students in traditional Ao Dai dress heading to school. Stop at local homes to learn about daily life and customs here in the Mekong region. The ride takes you through rice paddies that stretch across the heart of the delta. You'll cover about 30km on concrete paths and sleep overnight at either a hotel or homestay.

Landmarks Mekong River - Day 3
Cai Lay to Phong Dien
Start early to get to Cai Rang floating market before it gets too crowded. This market is where traders move fruits and vegetables between boats, and it's worth seeing firsthand. After the market, you'll meet a local character known as the snake man who rides around on a bike. He offers snake wine tasting and fresh fruits if you're interested. From there, you'll cycle through gardens before finishing up in Phong Dien. Lunch happens somewhere along the route. After riding about 25km on concrete roads, you'll get transferred back to Saigon or directly to Can Tho Airport depending on your plans.
