Itinerary
- Day 1
Swakopmund to Spitzkoppe
Leave Swakopmund early and drive into Damaraland to reach Spitzkoppe, a 1800 metre mountain peak with well-preserved bushmen paintings and dramatic rock formations. Throughout the day you'll notice the rocks shift color, particularly striking at sunset. The campsite sits at the mountain's base, so you'll have good views from your accommodation.

- Days 2 - 3
Spitzkoppe to Etosha National Park
Head north to Etosha National Park, a 20,000 square kilometre reserve centered around a seasonal salt pan and permanent watering holes. Start with a short game drive before settling in at camp, which overlooks a floodlit watering hole where elephants, giraffes, hyenas and lions often come to drink. Day 3 brings a full game drive across the park with stops whenever animals appear. The schedule adjusts based on wildlife activity and where animals congregate that day.

- Day 4
Etosha National Park to Windhoek
Travel to Windhoek, Namibia's capital with around 470,000 residents and German colonial architecture throughout the city. Your camp sits on the edge of town, so restaurants and shops are easily accessible. Joe's Beerhouse is worth a visit if you're looking for one of Namibia's most recognized dining spots.

Landmarks Windhoek - Day 5
Windhoek to Omaheke Region
Head east from Windhoek toward Gobabis, near the Botswanan border. Meet local San Bushmen and learn about their ancient culture, among the oldest continuously surviving cultures in Southern Africa. A bush walk follows, where you'll see how the San people interact with their environment and manage resources in sustainable ways.

Landmarks Gobabis - Day 6
Gobabis to Maun
Travel to Maun in Botswana, your base for the Okavango Delta. If the schedule allows, take a scenic flight over the delta today. If not, that opportunity comes on Day 8 instead, so you'll get the flight either way.

Landmarks Okavango Delta - Days 7 - 8
Maun and Okavango Delta
Day 7 involves an overnight excursion into the Okavango Delta, a natural wetland covering more than 1.6 million hectares with remarkable wildlife variety. You'll travel by specialized safari vehicle, then transfer to traditional mokoro canoes for paddling to your delta camp. On Day 8, another mokoro ride returns you to Maun. The afternoon offers a scenic flight if you didn't take one on Day 6, plus options for horse riding or relaxing by the pool.

Okavango Delta to Nata Region
Drive through wildlife corridors between the Nxai and Magkadigkadi pans, stopping to see towering baobab trees along the way. Arrive at an unfenced camp by afternoon where elephants and antelope sometimes approach right up to camp, so you might have wildlife visitors from your accommodation.

Landmarks Nxai Pan Makgadikgadi Pans - Day 10
Nata Region to Kasane
Travel to Kasane in northern Botswana, the entry point for Chobe National Park. Spend time on a Chobe River cruise where huge elephant herds gather at the water's edge, and you'll likely see hippos, crocodiles, buffalo and the rare African fish eagle.

Kasane to Livingstone
Begin with a game drive through Chobe National Park in safari vehicles to spot the Big Five, though rhinos are exceptionally rare here. Then board a ferry in your overland truck to cross where the Chobe and Zambezi rivers meet, entering Zambia. Visit Victoria Falls, called 'Mosi oa Tunya' or 'the Smoke that Thunders,' the world's largest curtain of falling water. Set up camp on the Zambezi River banks in Livingstone for sunset views.

Tour Ends in Livingstone
The tour concludes after breakfast. You can arrange extensions to explore Victoria Falls further, visit local markets, take on volunteer community work, or spend time at the waterfront watching the Zambezi River flow toward the falls.
