Livingstone
Start your trip in Livingstone with a visit to Mosi Oa Tunya National Park to see Victoria Falls, one of Africa's most powerful natural wonders. The spray reaches far, so you'll feel it even from a distance. If you arrive early enough, there are optional activities like river cruises on the Zambezi or white water rafting available to add to your day.

Livingstone to Kasane
Cross the border from Zambia into Botswana and head to Kasane, which serves as the entry point to Chobe National Park. This afternoon you'll take a cruise on the Chobe River where you'll likely see elephants, hippos, and crocodiles along the banks. The park holds the Big Five and you might spot rare African Fish Eagles too.

Chobe National Park to Nata
Begin the morning with an open vehicle game drive through Chobe National Park, searching for elephants, lions, and different antelope species. After that, travel south into the Nata region through quiet areas where buffalo roam. Your campsite tonight is unfenced, so wildlife moves freely through the area, which often leads to some of the trip's best animal encounters.

Nata to Maun
Head south to Maun, which becomes your base for exploring the Okavango Delta. A scenic flight over the delta is possible if time works out; if not, you'll get this chance on day 30 instead.

Landmarks/POIs Okavango Delta - Days 5 - 6
Okavango Delta
Take an overnight excursion into the Okavango Delta using specialized safari vehicles. You'll switch to traditional mokoro canoes at the poling station and paddle through the waterways to your campsite deep in the delta. The next day includes another mokoro ride back out to Maun, where a scenic flight becomes available if you didn't do it on day 4.

Landmarks/POIs Okavango Delta - Day 7
Maun to Omaheke Region
Board the overland truck and travel toward the Namibian border through Ghanzi, passing along the edge of the Kalahari Desert. Once you cross into Namibia, reach your campsite in the Omaheke Region near Gobabis. An included bush walk with local San Bushmen teaches you about their traditional way of life and connection to the land, though timing may shift to day 8 depending on when you arrive.

Omaheke Region to Windhoek
Arrive in Windhoek, Namibia's capital with around 470,000 residents. The city shows lots of German colonial architecture throughout, reflecting its historical past. Your campsite sits on the city's edge, making it simple to go into town for meals and walking around. Joe's Beerhouse comes highly recommended if you want to try the most well-known restaurant in Namibia.

Landmarks/POIs Windhoek - Days 9 - 10
Windhoek to Etosha National Park
Spend the next two days in Etosha National Park, a 20,000 square kilometre reserve defined by its salt pan. Animals gather around the few water sources available, so wildlife spotting is relatively straightforward. Day 9 includes a short game drive before you settle into camp where a floodlit watering hole lets you see elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and lions after dark. Day 10 is a full-day game drive across the park with stops at different points. Your leader picks where to camp based on conditions.

Landmarks/POIs Etosha National Park - Day 11
Etosha National Park to Spitzkoppe
Leave Etosha behind and drive to Damaraland toward Spitzkoppe, a mountain peak standing 1800 metres high. You'll come across well-preserved bushmen rock paintings and dramatic rock formations throughout the region. The rocks shift color as the sun moves, creating particularly nice views at sunrise and sunset. Camp at the base of the mountain where you can take in the sunset with a cold drink.

Landmarks/POIs Spitzkoppe - Day 12
Spitzkoppe to Swakopmund
Drive to Swakopmund this morning, a German colonial town on Namibia's Skeleton Coast. Your tour ends when you arrive early afternoon. Optional activities like quad-biking, sand boarding, skydiving, and dolphin-watching cruises are available if you want to extend your adventure. Local accommodations and transfers to Walvis Bay Airport can be arranged on the spot or booked ahead of time.
