    The most wonderful experience! The land based element was very full on, so that made having most afternoons free on the river cruise element a nice relaxing time. All of the excursions were excellent, although I don’t think that visiting the orphanage children at Mother Theresa’s refuge was appropriate. The staff were all utterly superb & really couldn’t do enough for their guests. I would totally recommend this holiday, however, if booking from the UK beware of using TourRadar! I asked repeatedly if the holiday they were selling would be exactly the same as I would book if I went directly through Avalon, & they said yes. It wasn’t! No airport transfers or gratuities included, so my holiday cost me more than it would have done if I’d booked directly through the Avalon UK website, as TourRadar booked it with the Avalon US! Shame on TourRadar for misleading your customers!!!

    The boat was beautiful, the staff and director couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. We had the trip of a lifetime learning so much history of Vietnam and Cambodia and meeting the people. The food was delicious. Exceeded our expectations

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before August 5th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 5th, 2025, a minimum payment of $750 is required to confirm your booking with Avalon Waterways. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • The following cards are accepted for "Avalon Waterways" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
