- AAnonymous· January 19th, 2023"Our recent trip to Nepal was incredible. This would not have been possible without the head office team led by Prem Khatry. As CEO and founder, Prem is both an entrepreneur and compassionate community leader. His team's attention to detail was key to our trip. Upon our initial visit with him in Nepal he assessed our needs and quickly suggested we do the ultralight flight in Pokhara, which of course, we knew nothing about - and it turned out to a major highlight of our Nepal visit. This chap Prem, raised in the mountains of Gorkha, knows his stuff. Our pick for guide of the year - is the guide that truly made our entire trip special - Dill Tamang. Having been involved in this sector for many years his immense knowledge flows out of him as you walk through magical Nepal with your mouth wide open. Dill, who himself was born in a remote village in Nepal showed us the incredible beauty of Nepal in so many ways. He understood us within the first day. A highlight was Dill searching out the Guru Rinpoche Cave for us even though it was not on the original tour - he made it happen." . - APAmrit· November 24th, 2017Nepal is a beautiful country. The locals are so friendly and polite. There is so much to see. The only problem was that a lot of these places required very long journeys in the car. The drive from Nagarkot to Chitwan took over 9 hours on the most bumpiest roads. Other journeys took up to 5. If there was an internal flight aviable to Chitwan would have made it a lot easier. Also, the time i spent in Chitwan was not enough as you pretty much get only half a day on safari. I would have loved to do a jeep safari instead of the Elephant safari, as I found the elephant safari to be very upsetting. It was heart breaking watching these beautiful animals carrying more than 5 people (including a metal sitting platform) on their backs. This made me cry. But what made it worse was going to the "elephant stable" where the elephants were chained to posts and looked depressed. The guides were very good. The guide from Kathmandu to Nagarkot was brilliant.Show moreTrip date: November 2017

- Linda· January 22nd, 2017Great experience with ACE The Himalaya!!! We stayed for two weeks in Nepal and did the eight day tour " Glimpse's of Nepal". We loved their guides, Dil B Lama-Tamang took us for an amazing tour of Kathmandu. He is an expert guide and a patient on as he waits for me to climb the stairs to the Swayambhanuth Temple. His calm demeanor and expert knowledge were a plus as we meandered through Durbar Square and the bustling streets. He answered all our questions and we saw so many beautiful sites. Our guide for the eight days Mansignh Gurung was a blessing. He is very knowledgeable as he leads us through Lumbini and it's many sites and temples. He was fun to be with for eight days and his smile and demeanor is the trademark of the wonderful Nepalese people. Ganesh Adhikari, our driver was the best driver we could have had. He made for a safe driving experience through the rough and mountainous roads. Ganesh also was much fun to be around. We had a great experience thanks to ACE and would travel with them again in a heart beat!!Show moreTrip date: September 2016
