Itinerary
- Day 1
Amsterdam
You'll arrive in Amsterdam by 3:30 pm and board your suite ship by 5 pm. The rest of the day is yours to spend however you like, whether that means wandering through the city on your own or joining the optional guided excursion to Zaanse Schans to see the historic windmills and traditional Dutch houses.

Amsterdam to Cologne
Start with a guided canal cruise through Amsterdam's waterways, passing the stately homes left over from the Golden Age. After lunch, you can either explore more of Amsterdam's streets, galleries, and shops on your own, or join one of the optional excursions. Later, listen to an onboard lecture from your Master of Wine before the ship sails toward Cologne.

Cologne
Begin with a wine and cheese tasting led by your Master of Wine. Once you reach Cologne, pick from a bike ride with your Adventure Host, a guided walking tour focused on Jewish heritage sites, or a city walk featuring Cologne's famous twin-steepled Gothic cathedral. Grab a glass of locally-brewed Kölsch lager during free time. Local musicians perform live entertainment on board this evening.

You'll sail through the UNESCO World Heritage Rhine Gorge, spotting ancient castles on the cliffs and passing the legendary Rock of the Lorelei. In Rüdesheim, choose between hiking through vineyards, touring the 13th-century Eberbach Monastery with wine tasting, or checking out the Mechanical Music Museum with wine. Live entertainment happens on board tonight.

Afterward, join an onboard wine and chocolate tasting from your Master of Wine. The ship heads to Kehl this evening.

In Strasbourg, you can bike through the city with your Adventure Host, take a sightseeing tour of the Gothic cathedral with its astronomical clock and the charming La Petite France District, or join a guided trip along the Alsace Wine Route for local wine tastings. Join a food and wine pairing dinner led by your Master of Wine. The ship sails to Breisach tonight.

Afterward, the ship heads to Basel.

Mount Pilatus to Lucerne
You'll leave the ship and take a motorcoach to Mount Pilatus, climbing almost 7,000 feet for views across central Switzerland (the Swiss Transport Museum is available if weather doesn't cooperate). From there, join a guided walking tour of Lucerne, stopping at Thorvaldsen's Lion Monument and the famous Chapel Bridge.
